It's fine but could be better

This book has some nice ideas, I really like that it's divided by age but unfortunately I don't feel this goes as deep as I needed, I think lots of realistic examples are needed to really understanding a discipline technique, this felt too superficial and brief.

Succinct and easy to use

I purchased both the hard copy and audible of this book. All of the authors books are user friendly and so easy to apply her practical knowledge in your daily life with little ones. I particularly enjoyed that its divided by age groups

Easy listen and very informative

I loved this book. It's simple and straight to the point, but also included things I wasn't expecting. I enjoyed that it explained the developmental information for each age group. Great and easy read, I highly recommend to parents who want to respect their toddler in their different stages and encourage independence!

I don't know what book these people read.

As a first time parent a lot of the psychology of this is correct but the methods and practices are common sense approaches that I have been trying with little to no success on the more stubborn issues with a child. There is a lot of instances in this book where it is explaining issues that you need to tread lightly on and just when you think it is going to actually give you something you can use it stops and veers off in another direction not answering anything or giving advice and then does the same thing again. If you have any type of paternal instant do not buy this book because you already have every thing covered that this book is going to be able to tell you.
