Straight and to the point!

This is a great guide! Just the information needed and not a lot of fluff to fill the book, like another potty training book I tried. Recommend for busy parents.

We struggled to potty train our first child for months. We listened to this book on a short day trip and that weekend we did it! The first part of the book is what not to do, and that described all that we were doing. We followed the author's advice and potty training was a (messy) breeze. If your lost, like we were, this book holds the key to quick potty training.

Gave me great ideas for my baby

I liked this book a lot. I actually started training my baby at 4 months because he was very fascinated with the toilet and would actually hold in his poop because he hated how it felt in the diaper. Me being concerned and confused, why he wouldn't just go, I took him to the doctors for a reason on my my child was being weird about a diaper. A few doctors checked him out and told me that my child was ready and that I should start potty training him already. That you could start at any age! (crazy right?!?!) Apparently a few generations ago people would potty train right at birth.

With all the times we would take him to the bathroom with us since he was born he wanted to do that too. (But he is also the child that will watch the big kids do something and he wants to do that too, even though he can't) But I didn't know where to start or how to do it. So I got a few books on how to start potty training.

This book gave me some awesome ideas that we use today. (not all because he was a bit young) But still! Today he let's me know when he has to go, isn't afraid of the toilet and doesn't have many accidents. (he will get some at night sometimes but it's okay because he's still pretty young and we are still proud of him) This book really helps if you have no idea where to start or just have a frustrating child that just won't figure it out.

Best advice I have is don't give up and don't get mad if a certain way doesn't work. Every child is different and every child will learn in different ways.

I had this playing on speaker while I walked around and cleaned the house. I guess my 2 year old was listening and he told me he wanted to sit in the potty. This book is pure magic

Awesome Book!

I love this book because it is so real. I used this method to potty train, my 20-month-old daughter! This book is worth the read. It's hard work but totally doable!
