I only listened all the way through to the last book
This was just a bit too light weight for me. I don’t like all my books to be full of angst, but these were a little silly for my taste. I didn’t really feel anything for the characters in the first two books and in the last one I felt that brevity came at the expense of any depth. It went from nothing to serious commitment in a flash. The bad guy was a definite caricature and if the heroine didn’t at least have a pause knowing he’d been married and divorced multiple times, she was pretty gullible. The narration was good, but couldn’t save the shallowness of the plots.

Narrator killed the story
I bought this title because I really enjoyed the author. I should have sampled it on audio before I bought it because the monotone narration was too much and I stopped listening.
