Ugh, Family! Am I right?

A bloody, backstabbing finish with plenty of twists and thrills to finish out the story. I wish there’d been a small epilogue for Nix and his evil influencer sister, but this ended with pretty much all the Youngbloods having won me over.

Fantastic

This entire series was incredibly well done. This book sticks the landing with only a few very minor loose ends that I wish were answered at the end.

A Twisted, Rather Raw Paranormal Adventure

Ok. So this series has A LOT of graphic violence and some use of the “f” word, which I never find necessary. However, in spite of these negatives, the Youngblood family are definitely a dysfunctional bunch of personalities that draw you in to their petty differences and there rather large problems of dealing with Ora (grandma) and the Society of humans who wants them all dead. There are many twists in this 3rd installment, but all comes together in the end.
I would love to read more about how the family moves on after the end of this story. I feel like there’s a story in helping Nix to find a new body of an adult man instead of a 10 year old boy. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Definitely worth the listen if you like demonic adventure stories and can get past the violence and intermittent foul language. All 3 novellas are included in Audible Plus as well.

Loved it!

Excellent trilogy! It was entertaining, easy to listen and the narrators were great! Demon family with Human faults lol. It was nice knowing that Hispanic authors and narrators were involved. It is unusual to hear more them in in contemporary books.

Surprisingly Good!

I enjoyed this! Wasn’t sure what to expect with this book being about demons, but it was a cute adventure/family come together story. Maybe if you like Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchette, this might be up your alley. Probably on the more younger (millennial/gen z Range) adult audience side but still enjoyable for any adult.

Worth the listening time

So I waited until I had listened to all three to write my review.

They are a good quick listen. And it was so easy to get into the story, the characters and even paint the pictures on my head of the whole setting. I really enjoyed this series. Was nice to end on a happy note.
