Great listen!

Such a fun listen. You can only hope most teachers have a little bit of the main characters compassion and commitment. Made plane time fly.

I would have loved dual PoV

I would have loved to have both points of view for this book. It was lovely! The narrator wasn’t my absolute favorite but she did very well! Definitely recommend!

Hopelessly romantic

This rom com is so sweet and … believable? Like Nora Ephron believable… Like I could go to work and chat with Mac and Jenny. Like I could TBR Daniel’s books. Just delightful.

A story for book lovers!

It took a while to settle into the narrators take on the characters. Appreciated the bonus chapter that gave voice to the male main characters POV.

I love this book so much!

I read the e-book and was excited to listen to the audio. The audio brought this story up another level and I had so much fun listening. Megan Carver did a great job with the narration. I am excited to listen to the second book in the series!

Real life romance 🤍

Okay first of all, I am absolutely in love with this story. I’ve read the physical book twice and have it annotated to the brim! I’m not usually an audiobook listener but when I heard TWP was being turned into an audiobook, I knew I needed to listen to it.

So what ended up happening? My husband and I decided to listen to it together on a road trip and BINGED the entire book! I loved being able to listen to the story this time (and excitedly point out my favorite parts), while listening to my husband’s commentary and what he loved.

Thank you, Allie, for sharing such a sweet, inspiring, real life romance story with us and thank you, Megan, for delivering the story so beautifully! I truly hope the rest of the series gets an audiobook as well because I’m dedicated to them all 😍

If you’re looking for a romance story that also involves strong character growth, mental health rep, and a believable plot line— give TWP a listen! I promise you you won’t regret it! 🤍

sweet and swoony love story

Admittedly, I didn't really know what to expect going into this book. I don't often read single pov books anymore but this one did not disappoint. With everything that Mack has been through, I think it's fair that we get HER story.

I absolutely lovedddd the connection between Mack + Daniel. They were everything from the beginning. Daniel was perfection in all the gorgeous nerdy ways 🥹🤍

The narrator did a FANTASTIC job. Her voice was engaging and great at storytelling. I felt like I was watching it happen in front of me. She did a great job of differentiating between different characters and scenes. Highly recommend listening to the audio!

10/10 Recommend!

This was such a phenomenal book! The characters, the story line and just everything. It felt so relatable to the real life joys and struggles people deal with daily without feeling like a stretch or overly enhanced or undervalued. This is a book I’ll put on my “read again” list for sure.

A beautiful story

McKenzie Milcrest, aka Miss Mac, a high school English teacher, has to be shadowed by Daniel Evan’s, a well known author looking for inspiration despite his apparent writer’s block.

Together, they help one another to see things the other doesn’t notice and while we all want a happily ever after, Daniel seems to think there is no such thing.

I absolutely loved this story. I was hooked from the beginning and didn’t want it to end. From how well developed her characters were written to the way she made me feel (something mentioned in her own dialogue), I loved every second of it.

I highly recommend reading this book.
