Publisher's summary

Welcome to the apocalypse, where the end of the world is just the beginning of the game.

The Hell-Cursed have grown even stronger as they feed off the dead bodies left in the wake of humanity’s apocalyptic war for survival. Where there were once chaotic hordes now march undead armies with singular purpose. With this new threat looming on the horizon, leveling up may not be enough.

Chedderfield, Archimedes, and their ragtag group of survivors must pull out all the stops to prevent a catastrophic threat from destroying all they know and love in one devastating sweep. Can they put aside their differences, gather new allies, and make deals with old enemies to save the city, or will they become just another statistic in the ultimate LitRPG apocalypse adventure?

Welcome to Hell on Earth. Welcome to The Upgrade Apocalypse!

Warning: This book contains apocalyptic adventures, creative cursing, jokes about the apocalypse, an interesting card skill system, horror monsters to fight or flee from, and character deaths when they fail their save throws.

Best one so far

I listen to Litrpg books for the stats and loot. Plenty of great fantasy that isn’t litrpg. Lean into it. I’d like more focus on the cards and progression.

Another solid entry

This series is gaining momentum. The post-apocalyptic world is fast pace and entertaining. The cast of characters are still a little much. They are more caricatures of people. The narration is excellent though.

got something good on your hands

I hope the author keeps up the good work he has a jem on his hands the only thing I have to say is the trust thing between his characters like why would you have to be worried about a friend you think of and love as a brother would steal from you and his group when you yourself know his who character isn't like that you know him to be very selfless even going so far as to sacrifice his life so that you all would live multiple times its just odd to me that's all

great performance and a good story

I love the dual narrator and changing perspectives. The only real critique is the fact that we are on book three and not even a month has passed since the change. Too much action and not enough downtime. I understand the need for urgency but it takes it a bit too far.

Good Stuff!

I was hooked after the first book. It is gritty, dark, and disturbing. Some of the worst elements of humanity are high lighted during this invasion apocalypse presented for your earholes. Here at book 3 I find myself loving this bromance of cannibals tossed into an action packed thrill ride. I am not saying I would choose this book to portal into because I would die so fast and taste horrible.

Enjoyable but please end Lucy

enjoy the series as well as all of the reasonable people who can act like adults during life threatening events.

Really good story but

This is a really good book but Lucy needs to die. Every time she talks I cringe and get a headache, she is the worst character ever, loud, obnoxious, annoying and thoughtless
