Good ending but slightly controversial ideal

This was a great (supposed) ending to the story revolving around Vivian and Axl’s family/friends. Book 2 (or 1.5?) was a bit boring as I didn’t really care about Jackson’s point of view, only the information that his POV could give the reader (which wasn’t much of anything I didn’t already know or suspect).

My only complaint is that this book, and the series before it, promote this idea that fate is real and good things come despite the bad. I like the sentiment and how these books display both the good and bad parts of the world, but i don’t really like that the characters were okay with the bad just bc something good came out of it. Just my personal opinion, but I wish there was more of a sensitivity towards the bad things because the good things (even if REALLY good) don’t justify the bad things. I think it’s great that the characters were able to see the positives in their lives, but this mantra can become super toxic and negative if taken too much to heart (and just really isn’t for everyone!).

Character Development a shout out to the Author

I love Kate L Mary’s books. I love the way she builds her multiple layered characters. None are the same. My only complaint is her main character love stories all unfold the same- the bad boy who falls madly in love and wants to protect with the weak woman who becomes the baddass because she knows how to shoot
That being said- her development of Angus, Jane and Jake……A+ class writing

Great Read

Twisted: The Complete Box Set was a great read by Kate L. Mary. This box set consists of; Twisted World, Twisted Mind, Twisted Memories, and Twisted Fate. Twisted World: A Broken Worls Novel: Twisted Book One was a great read by Kate L. Mary. The world's population has been ravaged by a deadly virus that spread twenty years ago. Many people had died and came back as zombies. Megan is a product of two survivors that crossed the country to go to Atlanta for a real future twenty years ago. Meg's father has now vanished and they unfortunately presume that he is dead and her mom has began to lose it. Meg just wants to be safe but Atlanta isn't as safe as everyone believed. She gets a job at a club where she meets Donaghy, a convict fighter. Their path's crossed and now he can't turn his back on her. Meg is faced with the reality that her father may be alive and her father may be alive. Her and Donaghy search for the truth. Twisted Mind: A Broken World Novella was a good quick read by Kate L. Mary. Jackson has always wanted to rule the new world. He and his father don't want to keep humanity alive. Jackson has a really dark evil inside him. As Jackson's plans start to happen, things start to unravel. His plan for Meg isn't working because she isn't cooperating. This was a good look into Jackson's disturbing brain. Twisted Memories: A Broken World Novel: Twisted Book Two was another great read by Kate L. Mary. Angus woke up in a sterile room twenty years ago with no idea where he was. Doctor's decide to use him as a pincushion to manipulate the virus seeing as he is immune. Angus fought hard to stay alive although his life was pained as a prisoner to the CDC. This book brings you back twenty years to the memories of Angus' years as a prisoner. You find out how Angus becomes a father and eventually obtains his freedom. Twisted Fate: A Broken World Novel: Twisted Book Three was a great read by Kate L. Mary. Meg has discovered that not only is her long lost uncle Angus alive but so is her father. Meg and her family are forced to leave New Atlanta but knows that they must go back to the CDC to free her dad and Donaghy. Jackson decides to release Donaghy but with a twist. I enjoyed this book and finding out what happened to the survivors. I really enjoyed Meg and Donaghy's story and can't wait to read more by the author.

Worst narrator ever

I honestly can’t listen to this. The narrator completely ruins it for me. I will try to read it instead but listening is painful.
