Publisher's summary

From number one New York Times best-selling author Lauren Blakely comes the next book in the sexy, emotional, and deliciously addictive No Regrets trilogy...with all new narration from Joe Arden and Vanessa Edwin.

I swear I’m changing. I’m trying so damn hard to step into the wild unknown of my future.

At least Trey is on the other side waiting for me, and he’s the closest I’ve ever come to something real, something true, something like love instead of addiction.

But when I learn what the man I love has been hiding from me, I fear our future will be riskier than I ever could have imagined. And I don’t know how the hell I’ll ever be ready for it.

The Thrill of It is the second novel in the No Regrets and should be enjoyed following The Start of Us.

Trey and Harley’s story concludes in Every Second with You.

Throughly enjoying the new No Regrets trilogy

I’m throughly enjoying this revisited look into Harley and Trey in book 2 of the No Regrets trilogy. There’s a fantastic look into how Harley and Trey have found themselves where they are and it’s encouraging to see them growing together. Quite the glimpses into their pasts and can’t wait for the finale.

Amazing narration by 4 top performers, really enjoying this series.

Loving this series!!!

So far I am really loving this series!! But of course I just love Lauren Blakely so I´m not surprised. I do like how each book flows into the other, & they aren´t standalones like some of her other series. I would highly recommend!!

A bit over the top

The story held my attention, but it felt over the top that either of them would have become a sex addict based on what has been revealed so far. I get that they both used it as a way to gain control in their lives...curious to see if there is more to be uncovered in book 3.

Vices

Trey and Harley have their own vices but there are ghosts that continue to haunt them. They have a solid relationship because they trust each other mostly and they share everything with each other but they still feel a pull to their addiction. With their struggles, their demons and their determination to change, they fight their battles separately and together. A really raw and revealing glimpse into exactly how much these two young people have endured. Outstanding narration!

Great continuation

This picks up right where we left off and really gets into the heart of the story. Narration is again done extremely well and again ends on a bit of a cliffhanger.

Compelling and heartbreaking.

The continuation of Trey and Harley’s dramatic story is the most compelling, heartbreaking and heartwarming story I have read in a very long time. This series is such a huge departure from the contemporary romances I have come to expect from Lauren and it really took me by surprise. My heart broke a little more with every revelation of Trey and Harley’s painful journey. The pain inflicted upon them by their parents made me so angry, especially the unconscionable behavior of Harley’s mother. I can’t wait to listen to more of Trey and Harley’s story. Vanessa Edwin and Joe Arden’s portrayal of Harley and Trey is absolute perfection and I enjoyed Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon’s contributions as well.

Good 2nd book in series.

This is a aood 2nd book in series. The one thing I hated was how she put so much in her pimp ad far as thinking her actually cared about HER!.He cared about her bringing him his money and other than that NOPE! He is a pimp and after you have no usefulness, you are gone, and Cam is no different. I just hate she went to him when it got rough instead of her man.

Harley and Trey

Continuation of Trey and Harley’s journey is emotional, heartfelt and captivating. Their pasts are revealed, their connection grows closer and the intensity of it all is raw and gritty. Lauren Blakely never ceases to amaze me.
The cast of narrators is simply amazing. I enjoyed every single moment of this book.

Story is Getting There

This 2nd book was better than the first. The characters developed more, we finally got their backstories, and the plot was moving along, finally, when - bam, no conclusion, you’re just pushed to another book. I find that so irritating - even if the characters & stories are related to some degree, please let each individual book have a conclusion of some form; being left suspended is not a good ending. Even if I’d planned to read the 3rd book, I’d like an ending to the 2nd. You could then pick up a new, related thread in Book 3 if desired.

I’m not usually a Joe Arden fan, but he does a decent job on Trey’s voice. Vanessa Edwin does a good narration for all her characters. Again, in my opinion, Erin Mallon & Teddy Hamilton are simply not needed to carry this book’s narration.

I’ll read Book 3 because - duh??? - I want to know the ending of the story; I just don’t like the trap.
