Great first of series!

The Soul Taker

This is a fun paranormal story about wizard families living among normal people. The sheriff asks one of the wizards for consulting help occasionally. There is a serial killer case but what the sheriff doesn't know is that there is a link to a demon and a portal. The wizard needs to solve the mystery before the demons come through.
Exciting, very interesting, and great characters.
