They are self-aware. They are socially aware. They are self-managed. They make right decisions. They even can tell when they have gone too far, and can take the necessary steps to correct it. Teachers can spend less time with behavior and more time teaching if they had self-corrected Students.

For this to affect your school culture, you, the teacher, will need to:

• Take on a different mindset and believe that these methods will work
• Start using these activities in your classroom
• Develop a plan to teach and interact with self-corrected students
• Prepare to relinquish some of your "teacher power."

When others see your class running smoothly, they will start asking, "What are you doing to have such a great class"? Once you show them these rituals and routines, it will catch on like wildfire! It only takes one self-corrected student to make a difference. You need to get this book!
