Wonderful story of friendship and family
Carolyn Brown is a master of writing believable, complex relationships. She gives depth to the characters and their interactions innway that not only highlights their friendships, but makes you feel like they are your friends too. The Sandcastle Hurricane is the story of two cousins brought together through their shared grief, two sisters torn apart by their life choices and family disfunction, two friends that have weathered a storm few can fully understand, and two men who love the cousins. The relationships and family dynamics throughout the book are complicated and messy, and oh so relatable.

Heartwarming
Carolyn Brown always, and I mean always writes the most heartwarming books. Her characters always seem so real and unique within her stories. I can also tell the narrators are carefully chosen and do a superb job portraying the different characters.

The sandcastle hurricane
This story was sooooooo good, as always. I love how Carolyn weaves love, wisdom and value among the generations! I am so grateful I get an audio version too. I liked this narrator but I love Brittany Presley. Thank you for another beautiful story. I wish it didn’t have to end.
