Publisher's summary

The Sunday Times bestseller

When Jeanie’s aunt gifts her the beloved Pumpkin Spice Café in the small town of Dream Harbor, Jeanie jumps at the chance for a fresh start away from her very dull desk job.

Logan is a local farmer who avoids Dream Harbor’s gossip at all costs. But Jeanie’s arrival disrupts Logan’s routine and he wants nothing to do with the irritatingly upbeat new girl, except that he finds himself inexplicably drawn to her.

Will Jeanie’s happy-go-lucky attitude win over the grumpy-but-gorgeous Logan, or has this city girl found the one person in town who won’t fall for her charm, or her pumpkin spice lattes…

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe is a cozy romantic novel for fans of Gilmore Girls, with a grumpy x sunshine dynamic, a small-town setting and a HEA guaranteed!

Tropes:

- grumpy x sunshine

- small town

- found family

Cute fall read

This gives all the small town charm and fall cozy vibes in one.
It started out a little slow for me, but once I was invested, I was sucked in.
The narrators did a great job with the Dual POV.

Hallmark Movie in Book Form

I adore hallmark movies. I love knowing what I’m going to get going into the story with a few added twists. However, I’ve realized I don’t care to actually read them. It was slow. Cute fall storyline, but fell short keeping me interested.

The Sexy Farmer

Absolute must read! If you love Gilmore Girls like I do, this book will do it for you! Brings all the same feels and emotions I get from watching the show. I am obsessed with this book and definitely will re-read this book every “Halloween” time. Thank you for making me relive my GG days again.

Spicy Cozy Read

This wasn’t as mysterious as I was hoping. It was cute little love story, although it started very slow. Pretty well rounded book, if you’re looking for small town cozy, spicy with a little bit of mystery.

Hallmark meets Gilmore Girls

Hallmark meets Gilmore Girls, but without the mother-daughter story line. Cutesy fall read with a who-done-it thrown in.

Small Town Fall Vibes

This is in 3rd person. I wants to DNF but the story was cute. It could of been so good if it was in 1st person

Narrator voice doesn’t match with the story

The story is cozy and gives Gilmore girl vibes. The narrators voice sounds too old for the character. She did a good job, but she sounded too old. For example, she said that when she goes home for Thanksgiving her mom makes her sit at the kids table when her brother isn’t there.. while the narrator sounds like she should be the mom with adult children. Maybe I’m weird, but the voice didn’t match the story. It was hard to get through because of that.
