Good idea for a book, but really misses the mark.
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The author focuses on British or European successes that I have never heard of nor can relate to.
What could Paul Maxwell have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Focus on American successes. Sorry if that makes me a fascist, but I've never heard of most of the people in this book.
