Publisher's summary

It is said that the pen is mightier than the sword, but what if the holder of the pen loses everything and in retaliation takes up his sword against the people who have wronged him?

One day, the FBI is attacked and two of its agents are killed. Soon after, the FBI headquarters is rocked by an explosion coming from a secret room deep inside the bowels of the building. This place is only known to a few as the time room.

As information is gathered regarding these incidents, the director of the FBI calls in those who have reason to know about the time room, and soon the evidence leads to a rogue time traveler and author.

But what can be done without a time machine to hunt this man? They need help, and one of the FBI agents is holding on to a secret that could assist them: Brian Partridge is alive.

wild ride, hold on

Very suspenseful, fast paced and intriguing storyline with interesting characters. Dana rubbed me the wrong way from the start. She acted too arrogant and like a know it all, better than everyone. I didn't see all the twists but especially the last big one!!!! Wow!! Leave it to politics and corruption in leaders!!! Smh. So much to process that my mind is still spinning. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

This is a great series

I really enjoyed book 1. Book 2 was just as good can’t wait for book 3. Time travel is one of those things we would all love to try. A lot more people have gotten involved in this book which makes it a lot more interesting. The way it finished I really want to find out what happens to Brain and his wife.

Great story, TERRIBLE voice acting.

Why did all the women sound pissy? The voices used for the Philly made them sound like they were southen. Avery was "Jeff Spicoli turned FBI agent. I think I will just buy the next book if the same narrator is used. it was painful to listen to.

Was good

Book was good when they were running from the controlling feds. But I don’t get why the author made Lancaster the bad guy. It seems like him and Brian were going through the same thing and he was tired of being chased down so he took some revenge and broke the fbis time machine. Hopefully by the end Brian and Lancaster can talk shit out. Because the way the book starts I have a feeling it ends with Brian’s family in cuffs
