romance with a bit of suspense

This was a great book that had both a great steamy romance and just the right amount of suspense. It is a book that will keep you turning the pages. I highly recommend this book

Great story, atrocious narration

Story is great, the narration is unbearable. I actually returned the book and downloaded the kindle version to finish it. The voices did nothing to enhance this story.

Membership read book 2 and now 3.
overall 5 ⭐️, narrators 3⭐️, Story 5 ⭐️
I almost passed on the whole audio experience with Kydd's stoner/surfer exasperating slow cadence speaking style on book 2. Must be listened at 1.25 speed or 1.5..... or it's just not worth listening to. Just read the Kindle version.
Biggest complaint....Kydd's female voices are the most grading.

Outside of the horrible Kydd FMC voice....
Book 3 was wonderful!! I knew the twist from being a crime show junkie.... but the build-up was fantastic!!!

I will continue to read the series or listen in audible as they come available in my membership.

Good listen

Good story and narration. Parts were frustrating but overall I enjoyed it. The accents were well done.

Another 5 star hockey romance

I really enjoyed Mica and Charlie’s story! These two may have started with a fake marriage but they were meant to be!!
The narrator’s Russian accent got a little annoying at times but all in all it was an enjoyable read!!!

Loved the storyline

This was such a great listen that I only stopped for short amount of times because it was so great. Love it. The Russian accent wasn’t the best it sometimes sounded a little Irish but that’s ok

Good story, but check out the preview first

I enjoyed the story. I really did. But the woman’s voice was too much. It was too high pitch, almost whining. It was distracting throughout the book. Other than that it’s a fun, romance read with some *spice* and a HEA.

Horrible Male Narrator

I absolutely love this book! The male narrator is terrible though. The Russian is bad, but the female voice he does is horrendous.
