Publisher's summary

Whether you're an entrepreneur or a new parent, a CEO or a small group leader, this audiobook will encourage you to see every opportunity in life as a chance to lead in the most excellent way.

Speakers often use the words vision, boldness, and influence to describe the characteristics of effective leaders. In The Most Excellent Way to Lead, Perry Noble makes the case that the heart of great leadership lies elsewhere. Perry, despite being voted least likely to succeed in high school, beat the odds against him. Today, he inspires 3,500 people every weekend to live for something greater than themselves. He credits this achievement to the leadership principles he has learned from the Bible. Surprisingly, the essence of leadership that produces genuine growth is buried in a Bible chapter often read at weddings.

In this groundbreaking audiobook, Perry walks us through that leadership chapter, describing the 15 qualities of an inspirational leader. For Perry, these principles aren't just leadership theories that sound great in a 30-minute talk. They've all been tested in the fires of real life, with real people. These essential leadership principles encourage true growth and real change.

One of the best leadership books I've ever read!

I'm probably like most people in that I've heard this passage of scripture used mostly at weddings and in respect to marriage. I love how he helps the reader to understand that it is about leadership! Both marriage and leadership obviously involve people and relationships so it makes sense, I've just never thought about it in this light.

A must read for every leader

This book came at just the right time for me! After a rough few months at work, I've seriously considered if I should be in the position I'm in and frustrated in my leading abilities. This is invigorating, challenging, and humbling, but I think I now have the answer for how to lead the team well.

Real, Host Lessons in leadership

Noble did an excellent job of sharing his leadership lessons as illustrated in his own life through his successes and experiential learning. This earned a lot of credibility with me. He leveraged the Bible to further illustrate his points which reaffirms what he says. This is an excellent tool for and Christian leader looking to improve ones effectiveness.

Solid leadership wisdom

The leadership advice is solid - the writing style is difficult for me in some places. Overall the authenticity of the authors heart overcame the instances of immature descriptions such as “I almost pooped my pants”.
I will recommend this book to their leaders.
