Story
Thirty years have passed since Greta left Marchmont Hall, a grand and beautiful house nestled in the hills of rural Monmouthshire. But when she returns to the Hall for Christmas she has no recollection of her past association with it – the result of a tragic accident that has blanked out more than two decades of her life. Then, during a walk through the wintry landscape, she stumbles across a grave in the woods and the weathered inscription on the headstone tells her that a little boy is buried here.

Good final sister story!
After reading the other reviews I was apprehensive to buy this, but I’m glad I did. After relaxing about the numerous accents the reader had to go through, I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Don’t pass on it.

obsessed with this series!!
I'm 42 and I've consumed thousands of books and this series has by far been my favorite ever. I somehow missed this release, but I can't wait for the next (and final?!) one!!! The stories are history based, and take you all over the world. The narrator's ability to create all these characters and accents is so impressive. Not a minute drags for me in this or any of the other books. Masterfully written and edited even though it is a 24-hour listen. It flies by!!

I loved this book and all the "Sisters" books.
I like these books because there is mystery, adventure, suspense, history, romance and joy or sorrow in finding each of the ancestors that the sister's found. Loved each of the books!

The Missing Sister
This is an excellent book! Love how the story goes from present to past & back again. A very well woven story covering multiple generations. I did have to work a bit at liking the main character Merry. While she does have many drastic revelations in a short period of time, as an adult, she seems emotionally closed off & distant. Which comes off as rude at times. As with the other books in this series I could not put it down. Definitely worth a credit! Does end on a bit of a cliff hanger for last book in series.

Wonderful book.
I was so excited to finally reach the end of the seven sister saga only to read that there is yet another book and the whole mystery of Pa Salt has yet to be revealed.
I was then stunned and saddened to read of the death of Lucinda Reilly. What a shock. I didn’t believe it but when in googled her, her obituary came up in the Irish newspaper that. So very very sad.
My sympathy to her family. A soul taken Far too soon.
Now I wonder if we will ever know the mystery of Pa Salt.
