Publisher's summary

Power is what naturally results when everything needless and self-defeating is stripped out of your life. Are you prepared to dedicate 30 days to throwing off whatever conceals the greater self you have always suspected you are? If you're unsure, do not even begin this book.

In The Miracle Month, Mitch Horowitz, "a cross between Aleister Crowley and Alan Watts" (Duncan Trussell), provides a 30-day, self-enforced academy that disrupts, upends, and overthrows every social and self-imposed barrier to your innate power.

"This book," Mitch writes, "is for people who would prefer nearly any alternative than to slide back into the anxiety, self-limitations, and half-in, half-out existence that they have known until now. Does that sound extreme? It is not. It is an open door to change."

Mitch helps you "Understand Power" (Day 9), "Give Up One Thing That Causes You Pain" (Day 13), realize "You Are Not Someone Else's Decision" (Day 27), and confront the question: "Do You Enjoy Suffering?" (Day 26).

In 30 realizable, graspable steps, you will reverse years of peer-enforced conformity and self-negation to become who you - rightly - sense you are.

This Book Can Change Your Life!

One of my friends highly recommended this book to me. He said that it changed his life.

Following a year of the pandemic which left me spiritually and emotionally drained, I was tired of feeling hopeless and afraid. I was ready to find the power within to break out and finally feel alive again.

The lessons in the book are spread across 30 days, a chapter devoted to each. The author asks that you not rush ahead, but I checked out several chapters right away as I felt like I needed to recoup that lost year as quickly as possible.

The exercises are powerful and energizing as they encourage you do things like Face Your Anger, Apologize and Mean It, Stand for Something, Learn to Forgive, Check your Values, Reject Comfort Media (and who hasn’t been glued to their one-sided political shows day and night for a year!) and many other intriguing and thought-provoking subjects like Practice Sex Transmutation, You Are Not Someone Else’s Decision, and F College, which I must admit, sound intriguing.

Just knowing that within a month or less I can methodically reclaim my power and become a better person, husband, and father, and find spirituality in everyday life, makes me a fan of this book and the author.

Mitch is the Miracle We All Need in 2021

The capstone in Mitch's Miracle Trilogy. This book gets you up out of your seat and is the definition of an action plan. Take each chapter a day at a time (or consume at all once and go back) and truly try to accomplish all that the book asks of you. Of course none of it is easy, but true change never is. All of Mitch's books are fantastic and this is no exception. Mitch is a true seeker and in turn writes books for true seekers.

Not what he does best. Excellent narrator as usual

I admire Mitch Horowitz's work. He is at his best when disseminating classic works of spirituality and esoterica, bringing fresh insights to his grateful readers. He is much like the late Wayne Dyer in this way. This book sounds like a "Be like Mitch" essay. No miracles here, just some nice recommendations that may help your life.
