Publisher's summary

The people who doubted you are in for the shock of their lives

Mitch Horowitz, "a cross between Aleister Crowley and Alan Watts" (Duncan Trussell), delivers this generation's most literate and liberating self-help book in The Miracle Habits.

Mitch shows how to foster a life of revolutionary self-direction through 13 "Miracle Habits" - radical but workable commitments that allow you to "Spend for Power" (Habit 8), "Get Away from Cruel People" (Habit 6), "Rule in Hell" (Habit 13), and produce fortuitous events surpassing all expectation in career, creativity, relationships, charisma, and self-respect.

"This book", Mitch writes, "is about more than cultivating sanctioned notions of success or acceptance. It is not about being 10% happier, 'good enough', or reorganizing your sock drawer. It is about fostering miracles. Not as a once-in-a-lifetime experience but as a recurring and natural part of life".

Fucking brilliant!

I can't recommend this book enough. I personally appreciated in chapter 8 the discussion of the importance of lifting weights and the Henry Rollins excerpt. I look forward to his next work, and Audible - ffs - please let occult America be available in Australia!!!!!!

Another great set of tools from Mitch.

A re-visit of some thoughts such as One Cheif Aim (thanks again very much for that Mitch) and other thoughts expressed through many of Mitch's life experiences. A relatively short listen so it's perfect for a quick look and then if you're like me, maybe a deeper dive for a detailed review by buying the book. So if you need a Mitch fix, here you go....

A wise man for our time .

For those that have been on the path a while this will be even more special. It's not the usual rehash . It has practical advise but also wonderful inspiration.

Mitch will change your life (if you do the work)

This book and Miracle Club have to be two of my favorite books ever written. I have both of them in audio and in print but I truly enjoy listening to Mitch read his own work. I think the power of these books come from the author having such a deep understanding of not only how these principles apply in the historical context of humanity, but also from an in the trenches application oh his ideas. this sounds corny, but Mitch Horowitz is a national treasure and we are lucky to have him in 2020.

Very beneficial self-help book

Although I personally don't agree with everything Mitch have said (as everyone should have their own opinion), there were points that illuminated parts of my life that I wasn't much aware of.
This book helped me to take the painful but necessary steps to improve my life, cut out the toxic parts, motivated me to take action and restored the belief in myself which I have abandoned and lost...
As a spiritual seeker myself and someone who's into self-help, this book was exactly what I wanted and needed.
Sincerely, Thank you, Mitch. ♥

This is a book I will read again and again... I enjoyed every word, he talks clearly and to the point, I feel authenticity and very well narrated, planning to start a new one from him tomorrow!

The Miracle Club 2.0

Mitch’s book The Miracle Club is one of my favorites; a text I revisit regularly. This new text is a wonderful companion that outlines how to apply intentional action to mind metaphysics. I have already begun to apply some of the Habits outlined in this book. I have always appreciated the depth and intellectual strength of Mitch’s work. I have a hard time listening to the “airy fairy” tonality of most self-help/New Age books. Mitch challenges the reader to think critically while making magic.
