Publisher's summary

A midnight phone call. A beautiful spy. A nuclear threat and Jack Widow.

Jack Widow is in New York City for his birthday. He’s living the good life without a care in the world. Not until his hotel phone rings at midnight. A woman with a seductive Russian accent speaks, making a desperate plea for her life. She needs help. She claims she’s being held captive by a group of dangerous men. And they’re going to kill her.

Without warning, the phone goes dead. Who is she? Is her claim real? Widow must find out. No choice. He’s not the type of guy to do nothing. The truth will drag him headfirst into a horrifying plot ripped right out of an international nightmare.

Fans of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher, Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp, and Mark Greaney’s Gray Man will enjoy the Jack Widow Action-Thriller Series.

I’m ready for the remainder of this series…

…to be published on Audible. I have been impatiently waiting for the Jack Widow books to be published on Audible. Since reading the first book in this series (Gone Forever) I have been a huge fan. This is a series of standalone books that can be listened to on any order however I would listen to Gone Forever first for Widow’s own story and background.
In this book it’s Jack Widow’s birthday. His former boss at NCIS decides to pay for a night in an expensive hotel for his birthday. He’s staying in room 911. In the wee hours he gets call from a woman also on the hotel who believes she’s called the police. She’s been kidnapped and needs help. While in the phone with her her kidnappers realize she’s gotten free of her bindings and gotten ahold of the room phone. Widow hears a scuffle and then a man comes on the phone and tells him that his wife has had too much to drink. He tells Widow to ignore anything he heard.
This is a fast paced book with a great plot.
Alan Philip Ormond does a wonderful job narrating.
This book has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Only one request…

Wish Widow was as smart as Reacher. What a great character. I’ll buy every book.
