Holy mother of Far!!!
though I had my suspicions about Brighton being taken, knowing what that ass did to her was difficult to get through.
Other than that, holy shit that ending! Not the news that Bri is (*SPOULER*), cuz I kinda saw that one coming, but the fact that it ended like that!!!! Man, I really need to get my hands on The Queen like yesterday!!!!!!!

A little annoying they still call these novellas because it’s clearly not. This is book 2 in a trilogy and I have been on pins and needles waiting for this book ever since I finished The Prince. Brighton really got on my nerves in the last book but wow she’s just amazing in this book. We learn more about the King and his past and we are shown how strong Brighton is. This book also ends with a major cliffhanger. The third book The Queen is supposed to be released 7/2020 so I’m not sure when the audible release will be. Sucks we have to wait almost a year for the conclusion but this series is worth it. Listen to the Wicked series first then I would wishlist these until the third book is out or at least I wish I had done that because the wait it terrible ☹️

Lots of tension and some expected twists
I didn’t want to put this down because I was eager for what I need would happen to finally occur. This book has some similarities to the Wicked trilogy.
The narrator would sometimes say a different work than what is in my ebook version.

HOOKED!!!
Absolutely LOVE this storyline! However yet again the narrator was inconsistent (what happened to Bri’s accent…?) words were off “lucodaine” instead of lidocaine, and the voice for Caden is dreadful, very forced, slow and distracting. It removes all sexual appeal of him and takes you out of the story because it’s so exaggerated. The story is flawless and it’s a shame the narration is so awful.

This novella has so many twist and turns and it will so Catch you off guard. I wish there was an actual series of these novella but in the kings POV. I highly recommend this
