ENLIGHTENING

This book truly serves as a guide for how we all should be living life! We all should exist in a state of “isness” as the author describes it and focus on the now more than ruminating over the future and the what-ifs. This is a short and super sweet listen that we all need to experience to lighten our spirits and let us know it’s okay to simply just be sometimes! Lastly, the narrator’s voice kept me so engaged and entertained. I loved it!

a spiritual guide

i personally identify with a lot of what the author is saying. i truly loved reading this book and listening to it was spectacular. the narrator needs some praise for bringing a warm, deep voice to the mix, but the literature itself is very wise and insightful. I recommend it for anyone looking for spirituality in life with a little less religion and a little more cosmic awakening

Interesting Insight

This was an interesting insight on some alternative views, some of which hit home. while I may not agree on every point the author was was trying to make, this was a fun listen. Narrator made it for me, very relaxing voice especially during certain parts which I wont spoil in this review.

I may even listen again.

Hippie Insights

I purchased the audiobook. I found the reader passionate about the topic making the insights resonate in each chapter. I read someone complain about the grammar. In my opinion this misses the goal of the writer in communicating key points about the Hippie era. It reminds me of The Celestine Prophecy. People complained about the grammar, and yet this book stayed on the NY Times Best Seller list for over a year and changed millions of lives. While this book isn't another Celestine Prophecy, it's a fun read for those who are open minded.
