A good book very well narrated!

A must read for one and all, no matter what level.
The book is full of great anecdotes and examples of what good leadership looks like and what pitfalls to avoid .

Good story..... excellent ending

Over all the book was very good and an easy listen. The last 90 minutes were outstanding and a great summary. I will definitely replay that portion frequently to remind myself of these crucial lessons.

This book was basically a history of one man's career. No doubt it was an extremely accomplished career. However as a small business owner, most of what he said didn't feel as if it applied to me.

Superb Leadership Exemplified

I truly loved the foundational teachings Hubert Joly brings to light. These are basics that center on one of the biggest variables in business….human behavior. I recommend this work to anyone aspiring to make a difference in the business world. Thank you, Hubert, for conceptualizing “Human Magic”!

Very inspiring on how to run a purpose driven large company

I heard about Hubert’s book on an interview with Gary Vaynerchuk. My consulting company is a B corporation, but there are very few large companies doing this kind of purpose and sustainable work. I was inspired to learn about the turnaround at Best Buy and hope other CEOs and boards listen to this book. Focus on purpose and people and the profits will take care of themselves.
