It was okay

I was given this book for free from audiobook boom and asked to leave an unbiased review for the author and narrator. This is not a stand alone book, you definitely need to listen to them in order, and by not doing that I missed a lot of the story. It was a pretty good story though. and I thought the narrator did a pretty good job, but she could work on her various character voices.

Too much effort

this entire series was very remedial. the writing had many flaws, was too procedural, as in first this and then this. the narrator tried hard to make it exciting, but her efforts were hampered by the almost immature writing. the entire series could have been done in one book and saved me two credits.

The Haunting of the Meade Mansion

Not having listened to book 1 or 2, I found it easy to listen as a stand-alone. When children are raised serving a wealthy family sometimes it turns bad. It’s amazing what one will do when they think they are entitled to something. Especially when their parents gave them all they could. Fantastic narration!
