Everything I expected from these wonderful creators!
A young adult novel, I wish I had found when I was that age. I enjoyed the use of troops and unexpected twists. Daniel and Ed were brilliant realizations of legend. And in general and accurate portrayal of the difficulties of growing up. Thank you for this book.

Exceptional!
I came across a review of this story while looking up podcasts. I was hooked instantly! This is a fabulously written, extremely entertaining and exquisitely read story! I'm going to listen again! PS, I'm 50 years old and I recommend The Halloween Moon to anyone of any age.

This was SO GOOD.
I feel like Joseph Fink has a great grasp of mixing mood with plot. This book is creepy, funny, exciting, and warm at it’s heart. Like his other work, it’s truly original.
The actor reading this is amazing too. Such great character work. Superb!

I wish I had this book when I was a kid
I can imagine myself reading this when I was in middle school. The story is fun and, at times, insightful. I have only one complaint: a green star trek uniform is for medical officers, not captains, lol!

omg
ok so originally I had only purchased this so my friend could listen to us but she said it was so good so I listed to it and oh my god it was actually so good. the story was amazing. ester is an amazing character and reminds me of myself when I was 13 and the narrator did so well I love all the voices he did for the character. definitely will listen to again at some point

Just As Magical As Anything Mr. Fink Writes
The performance was captivating, the story was both spellbinding and clever, and as a Halloween lover this definitely did the holiday justice. I truly hope a sequel is coming forthwith. Thank you Mr. Fink for another lovely story, I appreciate the worlds you create with words.

Fun Family Story
I enjoyed the Halloween Moon. It was a great coming-of-age story for all ages. I loved how colorful the villains were and the positive message of accepting change and growing up, a message that even some adults could benefit from.

Very cute and a little weird
Anything coming from one of the creators of 'Welcome to Nightvale' is going to get weird...but in a good way. I loved the message about time and change and growing up and actually really appreciated it as an adult!
I really wanted to know who the strange neighbor was!
The narrator is amazing and you should hear him as Kevin from WTNV!
