The narrators voice made it difficult to follow. Save some time and read the analysis on google. Literary value as an early horror novella.

narrator is not good
I’ve run across other titles voiced by Alan Munro. I always have to return the book.
His cadence and disinterested style is distracting and makes the story hard to follow.
