Publisher's summary

Do you have a family that is always there for you?

Do you understand that blood is always thicker than water?

Are you prepared to do whatever it takes for your family?

Family is the one thing you can rely on when the chips are down and you need help. When so-called friends and colleagues desert you in your hour of need, it is family that will likely be there to help you put the pieces back together again. Maintaining a close and loving relationship with your family members is crucial for so many reasons, so it’s vitally important that you work on it as hard as possible.

This book, The Eternal Pain, gives a deep insight into why our families are so important to us and how we can work to keep those strong bonds and make them even stronger, with chapters devoted to:

  • Nurturing your family bond to ensure enduring strength
  • Supporting your family through thick and thin
  • Offering sympathy and help during times of grief
  • How adversity can affect a family
  • The uniqueness of sibling bonds
  • Relationships between partners
  • The pain experienced by loss of a loved one
  • And much more…

Our families contain some of the most important people in our lives, and we generally do all we can to make sure they are safe and happy as much as possible.

Interlaced with short stories that accompany each chapter, The Eternal Pain is a book that examines the different relationships within families and how we interact with one another at times of great stress and difficulty.

It is the perfect book for anyone who loves their family and would make a fabulous gift for a relative or loved one!

Purchased for a book group, it arrived sooner than expected. I haven't read it yet, but plan to do so in the next days.

Very interesting

Very informative, and I enjoy how scientifically oriented "medical" is. This has yet to be put into practice.

Instrumental

Living at a time where not just exposure is required, but also guidance on how to handle it, is invaluable. It seemed more like a discussion than an instruction manual.

A Necessary Read

With the present global atmosphere, this book is an absolute must-read to assist you in navigating the uneven "system." Because of the "system's" lack of recognition of people of color and our problems inside it, this book provides a path for recognizing and regulating your own degree of mental awareness!

Enlightening - Great Read

This book provided a lot of useful information. Mental illness is frequently overlooked, and Black mental illness is rarely recognized or handled. This book brings much-needed awareness to the table. I learned more about myself and the men in my life. I particularly liked the tools and suggestions for driving change.

Very Insightful!

Rhonda Pownall isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. She doesn't waste any time getting down to business. When you read this book, be prepared for issues that you may have overlooked or buried to arise. I couldn't conceal since there was nowhere for me to go. Finally, I had no choice except to confront them and speak to them.Rhonda Pownall, you have done an outstanding job.

Haven't read all of it yet. You have to ...

I haven't finished reading it yet. To read this, you must have an open mind, because it is not as simple as popping a pill and expecting to be cured. It's taking responsibility for your own health into your own hands. That is to say, you are in charge of your own recovery.
