Story
My husband and I are fighting for our lives in hospital after a terrible car accident. But despite my pain, all I can think about is what our families will find behind our front door. The scarf that has been all over the news, belonging to a dead young woman with honey-coloured hair. I have to speak to the police before my husband can. I’m drifting in and out of consciousness, but when I hear my wife talking to the police, accusing me of the murder of an innocent woman, a cold fear grips me. I know I’ve got a temper.

I enjoyed how Daisy once again figures it out.
Still enjoy the Daisy McDare Cozy Mystery series. As she worked with Crumple, I felt a friendship connection building and liked it. Daisy's conversations with her fiancé Gavin once again led to an arrest. They were a cute couple. Donna G Soto came up again with a wonderful narration.
I received a copy of this audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

Fun cozy!
On this snowy day, this book was the perfect fit for me! A short, sweet mystery, full of twists and turns, KM Morgan gives us The Deadly Political Affair. This 10th book int he Daisy McDare Cozy Creek series is takes on a new case. It's election year, and one week before the election, Adam Mitchell, the front runner of the race winds up dead! Who would have done this? Of course the first suspect is the Mayor. What easier way to win an election but remove the competition? But Daisy McDare doesn't believe it. Now on a mission, she is out and about, interviewing the unusual suspects leading to an arrest that will surprise you! Donna G. Soto gives a great performance with the many characters and lets us become amateur sleuths right a long with Daisy. It's quirky, fun and a great way to spend an afternoon!

Entertaining series
Daisy gets embroiled in another murder that involves a political campaign as well as a restaurant remodel. Prior to the Daisy McDare stories I can honestly say cozy mysteries were not my go to genre, but I have found that the audible versions of these stories are something I can use to escape from the news of the day as I go about the things I need to accomplish. Donna G Soto’s narration brings these stories to life.

A good mystery
I enjoyed the tenth instalment of the Daisy McDare series. This was an entertaining cozy mystery that I was drawn into.
There are some surprises as Daisy investigates the latest murder in Cozy Creek of mayoral candidate Adam Mitchell. Nothing is as it seems as Daisy seems the truth.
There was a lot going on and KM Morgan certainly packed a lot into such a short period of time. The narration was good and I enjoyed the mystery as I followed the clues.

When politics turn deadly
A small town mayoral race takes a turn whenever the front runner is found murdered. Everyone suspects the competition, but Daisy knows there’s more to the story than meets the eye.
This is a fun short cozy that is very well narrated and well written. A lot of plot fits into the hour, and it was a perfect Saturday afternoon listen!
