Daisy McDare

I enjoyed the story a lot but the narrator not so much. So far in series this story was the best.

Another good read, looks to be a good series

Daisy McDare and the Deadly Rock Star Affair (Daisy McDare #4), my fifth read/listen from author K.M. Morgan, although I own sixteen of her books I’d never gotten around to reading one until I read The Deadly Floral Affair. Each book has been better than the one before, a well-written clean cozy mystery. Since I own both the Kindle & Audible editions I was able to read along while listening. Narrator Donna G. Soto's talented narration added to the book's enjoyment. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Good

Relative is accused of murder so once again she is investigating. These are enjoyable and fun to read and listen to. Given Arc Audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Great Mystery about a Rock Star trying to ReAppear

This was a great Narrator and a first book I listened to by her and the first in this series by I liked the title. Now I want to listen to more of both the narrator's and the series!!! The storyline is well thought out and easy to follow even while I am doing my crafts or execerising, which is how I listen to my Audible books. I love them for that. I love reading and enjoy listening to my books just as much. This book is a great reminder of the family ties we have as I am listening during the Cov-id 19 issues and quarantine requirements that we all are under. To cousins who have reconnected for a weekend holiday only to have one of them have their plans keep getting changed by the Rock Star. You will love this if you love a good cozy mystery.

Predictable story spoiled by poor narration

Very off putting on the narration, narrator sounded like someone in their late 50s to 60s, much too
old for this character. Not skilled at tone inflections for multiple characters, and often stumbled over the lines. Story was predictable for this genre, the constant references to the protagonist always needing a sweet treat quickly becomes tiresome. Beginning to see a definite storyline pattern in this series, especially with the unimaginative and cliched characters, this includes the lazy naming of the majority of character names starting with the same letter for first and last name.

Murder is all around

Book five of the series and was an entertaining cozy mystery that I enjoyed listening to as the narrator Donna G Soto was new to me.

Daisy McDare is on holiday and yet murder seems to follow her no matter where she goes. This time her cousin is the one in need, accused of a murder she didn’t commit. Can Daisy work the clues and save her cousin? Or is she destined to fail?

I enjoyed the storyline and the narrator did a good job.

Love Daisy McDare

Love Daisy’s style of sleuthing. She can get things out of people without them even realizing it! The list of possible murderers was fairly long, but each one had a motive!! K. M. Morgan brings the story to life with descriptions of each person making you think you are right in the midst of the group! This is a definite edge of your seat mystery! A must read! You won’t be sorry!❤️😁
