Publisher's summary

He answered the door in just a bathrobe. When I told him why I was there, he dropped it to the floor...

Bill:

I keep things simple with the women I meet. Charm her, enjoy her, discard her, and repeat. Once she hears my family name her focus is on the size of my wallet and she can't be trusted. Until Lauren shows up at my doorstep one night and I am suddenly in charge of the family company. I need to save the family legacy and 10,000 jobs. I can't do it without her. She's beautiful, sassy, brilliant, and brutally honest.

She can't stand me.

I need her. In my bed, in my life, as my wife. Everything's going according to plan... Until, she disappears.

Lauren:

I fell for him as soon as I saw him last week, all of him, the full package.

Until, he sent me back to his condo to get rid of the girl - the naked one in his bed. He didn't even know her name. Today he's the new CEO, and he's screwing up. Royally. I told him what I thought of him.

Again.

Now, he won't take no for an answer. When he makes a fairy tale proposal in front of hundreds, I can't say no. Together we have a plan to save the company.

But he's keeping secrets, and I uncover the worst one.

The main character!!

I enjoyed the book overall but I wouldn’t have been disappointed if Bill would have called it quits on her. Was not a fan of hers at all!!

loved it

I don't usually go for billionaire story but this one grabbed me and I loved it! The author was new to me but it won't be my last. The narrators were spot on and they made the story even better. If you are a romance lover, I highly recommend this one.

It had it moments

I liked the story line but the female character was annoying. I believe her story should have been a lot clearer to indicate that she had trust issues. The way the story implied is that she had a problem w/the male character when it was mostly her issue.

Enough Already!

This story could have used a healthy edit. It was a great premise, and the banter was great, but it tended to drone on longer than needed.

Most of the “droning” was done by the Female Lead who absolutely REFUSED to “trust” the Male Lead. Yes, there is a Family Trust involved in the story, but which trust is the reason for the title.

She’d rather believe anyone else other than him, even people she KNEW had ulterior motives. I mean come on! Why are they even together as characters if trust is not building in their relationship.

Narration made this 1st book by Erin Swann..😋😕😒

I wish I had read this 1st book by this new author in print form 1ST!! The narration advertised as Dual was CLEARLY 2 separate recordings pieced together. Inflection, tone cadence...all made it very difficult to stay focused & interested. Story line was good... predictable...but what you expect when you Browse through this Genre...so story got 4 ⭐ narration a generous 2⭐😒. The male narrator in particular was not good. Mispronounced words ( I don't care where your from!) almost a lisp or some kind of something trying to hard to enunciate. IDK...I'm just a big Sabastian York Andi Arnet fan... this was like your 1st oral presentation in 4th grade in comparison.. I forced myself to finish at least one whole book from a new ( to me ) author... unfortunately after I finish this review I'm going go back to my wish list & remove anything else narrated by these 2 narrators..☹️😞

Not everything worth having can be brought

Lots of twists and turns in a great story. Curve balls thrown at every turn and in the end - a home run.

Chalkboard scratching type of a book!

This book was awful! I couldn’t even stand to listen to the last 40 mins of it. I tried! I couldn’t stand the male narrators voice. He just did not fit the male character’s role. The woman was an idiot, they’re both super whiny, the storylines were so dragged out it was so unnecessary. Ugh.. just terrible!
