Pulls at my Heart.
I absolutely loved this story. It kept me intrigued from beginning to end. I know it is historical fiction, but by the end it was a true love story. I highly recommend this book.

Depressing but uplifting
So much of this book is depressing. Perhaps this is inevitable given the focus on the African slave trade and racism is England. But overall, if you can make it to the end, this is a wonderfully uplifting book.
