Jason clark - enough said

Jason Clark is dreamy as always and it is good story. A perfect combination. Didn’t want it to end

Murder, mystery and an intriguing romance!!

Don't you just love Ella Sheridan and her ability to pull you into her stories of mystery, intrigue, and completely captivating characters? If so, then buckle up because The Assassins Duet is a twofer filled with all those things and more!!

Assassin's Mark
Baby cakes you know you are not supposed to fall in love with your kidnapper, right? I am pretty sure they have a name for that and everything. Then again, I can't say I blame you because Levi was delicious even if he did do you a bit dirty there at the beginning.

Abby was set to marry a man her father handpicked for her. She knew not to go against the orders of her father but this one time she wanted to do something just for herself and Levi is exactly that thing. Something about him captivated Abby from the moment they locked eyes on one another and if she is going to marry who her father picked then she wants this one night with him. This one night to experience something for herself. Except the next morning nothing is as it seems, and Levi is no longer the smooth-talking man he was last night. There is something darker about him now. Something that terrifies her.

He didn't seem to know who she was last night but that was all a lie, and she was his target from the very start. As Levi tries to exact the revenge against Abby's father, he deserves both find themselves falling deeper into the hole of passion and longing that neither one of them has ever had.

When the ashes settle, and the revenge is settled what will happen to Abby & Levi? Will they be able to come back from all the secrets or will Abby have lost the only man she has ever loved.

The narration gods really were looking out for us with this narration because Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter were absolutely heavenly. While this was told exclusively from Abby's point of view when Levi spoke you took notice, and I was completely swooning from start to finish.

With a HFN ending The Assassin's Mark is Ella Sheridan at her best!! You never know what is going to come around the corner or how everything is going to play out, but you can't stop until you get the all the answers. Going right into The Assassin's Prey because I have to know how Levi and Abby's story ends after Levi is pushed to his limit.

Assassin's Prey
Right when you think Abby & Levi are all set towards their happy ending old ghosts come back looking for what they think is owed to them and Levi will stop at nothing to keep Abby safe.

Action packed and full of heart stopping moments Assassin's Prey is the story of the lengths one man will go to save the woman he loves. Levi might not know what love is or how to show it, but he knows that keeping Abby safe is his only priority in this life. With a threat that he can't see coming he is pulling out all the stops and with his brothers by his side they know they can eliminate the threat before it hurts someone else, he cares for.

While this might be a continuation from book one, this story holds true all on its own. You will need to read book one before you can get to this book because the story won't make much sense if you don't.

Stella Hunter and Jason Clarke of course killed this narration! I loved being able to hear the heartache in Jason's narration for Levi when he thought all hope was lost. It really shows the true testament to a narrator when they can draw emotions out of the listener.

Ella Sheridan is just one of those authors that will captivate you and slay you all in the same sentence and The Assassin's Duet was no different. I never wanted this story to end but now that it has, I am on the hunt to see if Levi's brothers have books because they were just as enticing as Levi was and I am not ready to say goodbye to this world yet!!

Gripping duet from start to finish!

Oh, Little Bird! The Assassins Duet by Ella Sheridan was one thrilling, steamy, and suspenseful ride that kept me gripping the edge of my seat till the very end! This duet includes Assassin’s Mark and Assassin’s Prey. Ella Sheridan is quickly becoming one of my favorite romantic suspense authors! Abby and Levi’s romance is full of spicy twists and chilling turns that hooked me from start to finish.

Stella Hunter and Jason Clarke narrate this audiobook in duet-style narration. I love when #starke is paired together because they always bring the heat and the passion. Stella brought out Abby’s vulnerabilities and determination as she strove to figure out to put her trust and love in. Levi was a tough character to love at first. However, through Jason’s growly and protective performance of Levi, my doubts quickly faded, and I fell hard for his loyal, dominant persona! Plus, the level of spice in this book is HOT, and both narrators portrayed this perfectly!

Overall, I enjoyed this duet in audio. If you are a fan of romantic suspense with a hot alpha assassin, a sweet and sassy heroine, supportive brothers, a corrupt father, scandals, secrets, dangerous plot twists that will keep you captivated, and a HEA that will leave you breathless and simply satisfied, then you will love Abby and Levi’s romance. I always look forward to more from Ella Sheridan.

Action-packed, thrilling and steamy!

“The Assassins Duet” is a thrilling and action packed duet that starts off at a 100 MPH and keeps the foot on the gas until the very end.

Assassin’s Mark:

Abby has been under her father’s thumb her whole life and is expected to play the perfect daughter, especially now as he is running to be Governor. But when she meets Levi at a bar, all bets are off. However, to Abby’s horror Levi is an assassin and his current mark is her.

I loved the predator/prey of this storyline. Levi was the perfect predator and I loved how a little darker this story was. Abby working through everything she finds out about her Father and Mother was heartbreaking but she worked through it like the strong woman she is. Their relationship quickly evolves into something more as they learn the truth about each other’s pasts. The ending is left open since it’s a duet and I’m ready for the next story.

Assassin’s Prey:

What a way to end this story! It’s been a wild ride and I loved the twist and turns that were added to this story.

The story picks up right where it left off as Abby navigates through her life that is a complete 180 from what it used to be. Levi is still battling demons from his past and he does everything he can to protect Abby from it.

I loved how much Levi and Abby evolved in this story. It went from captor/captive to two people who found each other when they needed each other the most. The chemistry between the two intensified and was so perfect for this story. The tension and build-up to everything kept me on the edge of my seat as I listened to Levi and Abby workout who was coming after them. The ending was perfect and I can’t wait for the audio of the next book.

Stella Hunter and Jason Clarke narrated in duet and did an amazing job bringing Abby and Levi to life. Stella is always passionate in her performances and brings each character’s personality to life. Jason is always great as the gruffy anti-hero and I loved having him in my ears as Levi.

Action, Romance, Suspense, Humor, Drama. Has it all. Best Narration duo. !! I could listen to these narrators again and again. Great choices. Great author.

Wow and Wow! This duet was smokin'! Non-stop action and suspense, plot twists, steam, great characters, brilliant narration...it has all the stars⭐️! The first book, Assassin's Mark is Abby's story. She's caught up in a web of deceit between her father (running for Governor of Georgia) and the assassin Levi Agosi. Stella Hunter's narration is beautifully done with Jason Clarke, duet style. The second book, Assassin's Prey is Levi's story. He discovers treachery behind the death of his family and seeks to regain what is rightfully his. Jason Clarke is the perfect voice for Levi and Stella is there for the duet bits. I'm totally an Ella Sheridan fan and this set did NOT disappoint!

Let me just say I hate when the FMC is weak and this girl just gave in. No fight whatsoever against a guy who kidnapped her. Other than that I did like the story. Levi needed to be knocked down a couple of steps but I’m all here for a HEA

Deadly assassin and his little bird ❤️

2 books, 2 POVs, Abbey and Levi completely bared. The deadly assassin with moral code and the innocent daughter of a dirty politician. The hunter and the hunted. Only the hunter falls prey to his mark’s beauty and kind heart. This story has it all, suspense, danger, excitement, secrets oh so many secrets and lies, the back stories of both hero and heroine are heartbreaking so its heart warming to see them fall in love and find solace in each other. If only Levi didn’t fight it every step of the way ! Narration is fantastic! Jason Clarke is my absolute favorite assasin aNd Stella Hunter’s performance is extremely genuine and endearing. She is the perfect young socialite. Cant wait to listen to the other brothers’ stories !

Action, suspense, and Hot As Sin! 🖤

I just adored this suspenseful, sexy as sin duet! Levi and Abby’s story is one wild ride that’s so sexy and intriguing. I love Ella‘s writing, and she blew me away with these. Stella Hunter and Jason Clarke narrate these in duet style deliciously.

Book 1: Assassins Mark
We get Abby‘s POV in this first book. She’s a corrupt politicians daughter who gets kidnapped by Levi. She eventually gets caught between Levi’s need for revenge to her father and her falling for him. Levi is emotionally closed off, but the sexy assassin starts to fall for his mark, and slowly has his walls brought down by her. Stella narrates this one mostly, and wow! With her genuine, soothing, sensual voice she really brought the story to life. From an innocent and confused woman to a fierce force to be reckoned with, strong, independent woman. All so believable and relatable.

Book 2: Assassins Prey
This is told in all Levi’s POV. Being an alpha badass hired killer, only living to protect his brothers is not the only thing he has now. He just couldn’t walk away from Abby, his “Little Bird”, even though he knew he should, for her protection. He wants to keep her safe, even from him, but he just cannot stay away. This one is jammed packed with action, danger, huge secrets, dramatic suspense. It is just so intense! With the white hot chemistry between Levi and Abby, and the sex scenes are just so hot! We learn more about Levi’s family’s deaths, and seeks total revenge. Jason narrates this book to perfection. He used his perfect usual growly, seductive, but overprotective tone, loved it! You can just feel all the emotions coming from him. From anger, dominance, and oh my heart.. the heartache. Phenomenal job.

5 stars!!!!Hands down! The drama, suspense and intensity of Abby and Levi is palpable! The series is just sublime!!!!! Narration was impeccable!
