Excellent Teaching

Dr. Sri has an excellent voice, so I was very disappointed when the book was not read by him. The person reading this sounds very monotone, it's not pleasant but I drive a lot and audible is my best option for getting through booklists. The is awesome though as is all of Dr. Sri's teaching. I love his style if sharing the joy of being catholic I always feel blessed and happy after listening to him as apposed to feeling angry and ready argue after listening to other apologists.

Thought provoking!

One of the best books I have read. A great reflection on how we should live out our lives.

Good content, annoying narrative..

The book has good content on some virtues but I found the narration weak and annoying to the point of distraction.

Put This In Your Short “Must Read” List

This is the best introduction of Catholic teaching on vice and virtue I’ve ever read. This is going on my list of the top/first 5 books to read for good Catholic formation. Not only has it given me great insights as an adult with my own struggles to live virtuously, this will be a great book to teach the children from as well. Dr. Sri balances theology with excellent modern examples and keeps this topic lively and interesting all the way through.

Only Audible on the 4 Cardinal Virtues currently

I do not wish to sound uncharitable, but it was difficult to take half of this seriously due to the triteness typical of Novus Ordo "relevance"... The same type that Protestant films on PureFlix have... But the effort is appreciable; the 7 Virtues do need to be made known and lived commonly once again.
