It's not always possible to control external events. There are so many things that are outside our control: the past, what others think of us, chronic health issues, other peoples' actions, the weather, unforeseen events. This list goes on and on.

Deep and enlightening
I will be listening to this again. The author presents much to ponder, and illuminates the nature of our spiritual longing, How we are looking for love in all the wrong places, and how faith is a true path to healing. Highly recommended. Fine print copy to study from also helpful.

Such Wisdom!
I heard about this author on the podcast “Godsplaining” and decided to give a look (a listen!). Amazing!!! So much was just what I needed to hear. I plan on listening again— and checking out his other works. I can’t recommend this book highly enough!!!

Very very helpful
This work is so very helpful.Listening and relistening has helped me to keep the task of becoming free in front of me. Freedom in Christ is the only freedom. It is THE freedom we all desire. This book helped me to let that reality sink in and want it.

Reader needs to learn pronunciation
The content is, of course, wonderful. I got frustrated with the reader’s pronunciation of foreign names. It would seem to be part of your job to learn how to properly pronounce words you need to read (Lisieux, Auschwitz).

Fr. Jaqués Never Disappoints!
