Not a self-help book
This is a wonderful book. It consists of fifty chapters. Most chapters are short enough to listen to on a daily commute or during daily exercise. The lessons taught in this book are helpful to anyone seeking to love Christ and anyone seeking to love one’s neighbor.

God bless Ven. Fulton Sheen.
I had a hard time approaching Ven. Fulton Sheen's work before reading this title. I had believed that his views aged poorly in the modern day we now live, but with proper context I appreciate this book so much more than if I had listened to the original recordings Sheen made. For those Catholics converts like myself, this is an excellent companion to your catechism, and is well worth a second and third listening. A huge bonus is the narrator.

Excellent Lenten Read
This is a great book to go through as part of your Lenten journey. It covers a wide range of topics pertinent to growing as a Catholic. If you are Catholic, this is highly recommended. If you are thinking of becoming Catholic, this book provides great insight into Catholic teaching. Either way it will not disappoint.
