Fun escape from reality
I’ve listened to all the books in this series and they are an easy, fun listen. This one was just as fun and I liked that it was from a new generation’s perspective.

That Ending
Poor Daveny wow my heart breaks for her at the end of this book. I hope Chase and Daveny find their way back to each other in the next book. I loved the family vacation together and the interactions between everyone. But I need Chase and Davaney too get their HEA.

Great Read
That Summer (That Boy #6) was a great read by Jillian Dodd. Devaney Diamond is hoping to have the best summer ever and her longtime crush seems to be finally interested in her. Just as things start up, she finds out that she is going on a three week vacation. She is looking forward to spending time getting a tan and hanging out with her lifelong best friend, Chase. He's always there for her, if it wasn't for their age difference they could maybe be together. She realizes that Chase is hot on their vacation. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

I love this series!!! can't wait for the next book. I like how Chase is so sweet and mature and Dani is a typical teenager who does not know what to do between what she wants and please everyone. I know Jillian will give them a good journey.

So hooked
I started this entire series back when I was still a book blogger, and I finally came back to it. Devaney is so like her father, but also got so much influence from her mother and it’s so hard listen when all you want to do is hug her. This is fiction, yet I’m so incredibly invested in all of their lives! Jillian did such an amazing job of drawing me in from That Boy through this book, and that’s an absolute feat. Bravo!

Did not want it to end!
I grew up in the Ozarks so I got really tickled listening to Devany describe “going to the Ozarks”. I was not ready for this one to end. Ready to see where this relationship is headed
