"Excellent book but perhaps for a younger audience"
Not exactly. It was a well written story but maybe not for me.
The narration was excellent by both readers
I think I would have given this book 5 stars had a read it 10 or 15 years ago but now I'm a bit older (31) I felt it was just too young for me. To be more precise the characters are teenagers and view the world from this perspective which I found a little immature and annoying at times. Don't get me wrong I love a bit of Glee I just think I personally have grown out of high school musical-type narratives.
fantastic book, brilliantly read! :) I love John Green and this book was fantastic, as good as The Fault In Our Stars.
"Download this NOW"
Life affirming stuff. Incredible characters brought to life with fantastic narration.
I haven't listened to or read a piece of fiction before that has created such a vivid image in my mind. I know these characters and I missed them as soon as it finished.
A perfect story about friendships, relationships, love and truth that goes far beyond the teen genre.
"Insightful and sensitive"
I think that this is a smart collaboration between two excellent authors.
I connected with both of the characters and loved how they grew throughout the novel.
The ending is touching in an insightful way, looking at how their relationships develop with their own personal growth. Both characters' eventual acknowledgment of their impact on others is what makes this book.
"One of the best books I've read"
This book can relate to almost anyone and has some of the best quotes . A must read if your a john green fan .
"will the real will Grayson please stand up."
side split tingly hilarious! booking my tickets for tiny dancer asap
multiple narrators held my interest & the various characters make u want to read on & follow their story. several intertwined live stories, all with different endings.
"Average, Unusual but sadly not Awesome"
Excellent narration. I found it difficult to empathise with the characters who are all self centered teenagers. This audio books may appeal more to teens/ young adults. It was all too trivial to be fully engaging.
Poorly fleshed-out characters, and with muliple teenage boys in tears or moods or tantrums over broken relationships, I got bored very quickly. I did keep going, hoping it would get better but sadly it didn't. Definitely not for me. Maybe if you're an emotionally-underdeveloped, self-obsessed teenage boy, it would feel more relevant.
"too much profanity"
the story was building quite well, but I couldn't continue to listen as I was wincing at the excess of profanities used. though that may be a true vocabulary of school children today, it's not something I use or enjoy to here every couple of sentences. didn't finish the read for that sakes I'm afraid.
Absolutely beautiful book read by two amazing narrators and written by two awesome authors. DFTBA!
