great story!

i really enjoyed it! it's great story, great for a road trip or plane ride!

Wish I hadn't seen the movie first.

Great book, too violent for kids, but a great puzzle thriller. Very excited for the sequels.

Will never relate to "shucking" the same - ever!

I get setting this book up as a tween book - but the OVER use of the word "shuck" and its derivatives became grating like "nails on a chalkboard"

The plot & characters were fairly well developed, but still can't get the term shucking out of my mind!!

I love the story the ending is so good I've seen the movie but I enjoyed the book more if you have watched the movie I really recommended to listen to this audio because it's very easy to understand and you can listen to it in the car it's easy to use and very time consuming!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Maze Runner to be better than the print version?

Was a exciting book. Constantly keeping you on edge! One of the best audio books to date.

What other book might you compare The Maze Runner to and why?

This is one of my first fiction books, i will continue with the whole series. Definitely listen to more fiction books from now on.

Have you listened to any of Mark Deakins’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Absolutely, he achieves this by changing accents for different charterers which he does extremely well!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Nothing at all i highly recommend this book.

Better than I expected

Great story with twists and turns you won't see coming. When I read it I didn't know it was a series of books. So glad to have more to listen to after getting to know the characters.

Great story, but writing could use some work.

I wanted to enjoy the book before I saw the movies, so I gave this a shot. The storyline was captivating sucked you in with the first chapter. The only thing that threw me was the way in which the author continued to use over exaggerated and/illustrated descriptions for everything that happened. It almost became comical to the point of me laughing every time he did it. Might have been how the reader read the book, but either way, I still really enjoyed the book and can't wait to go to the next one!

Maze Runner

I thought this book was good. The book was very well read by the narrator. The book did keep my interest, and I listened to it rather quickly. I would recommend this book for any age.
