The narrator gets the job done. This is a great listen. You get involved and truly start to wonder, how good is w-i-c-k-e-d?

It's a good book. It reminded me of a combination between Divergent & Hunger Games

Unique dystopian story

What did you like best about this story?

Very unique story line, had no idea what to expect in each chapter. Great suspense.

What about Mark Deakins’s performance did you like?

Superb. Liked the change in voice for each of the characters, it was thrilling, felt like I was in a movie. The range of tones in his voice increased the suspense thought the story.

Any additional comments?

Listened to this with my family of 5 on a trip to Charleston, S.C. When we got to our hotel room we plugged in the iPod and all continued listening, forgoing dinner until we had completed it. Needles to say, we bought the 2nd book and listened on the return journey.

Great Performance of a Predictable Story

The narrator does a fantastic job of using distinct voices for each of the numerous characters in this book, including a number of accents.

The story itself was good, though fairly predictable.

group a boys group b girls we all know that group b would completely fail the reason is is it's been done watch all girls survival show they don't in fighting clicking and everything else they do literally would be the death of all of them

Great book!! Lol I like that the author made up their own swear words with Shuck instead of something else lol I found that pretty funny. The reader has a great voice and kept me on the edge of my seat!! I personally love apocalyptic stories and survival. This is definitely one of those. I’m a teen and can confirm LOVED IT! On my way to listen to book two!!
