Publisher's summary

At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy's instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through the Gaea's forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors from both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?

They have no choice. If the demigods don't succeed, Gaea's armies will never die. They have no time. In about a month, the Romans will march on Camp Half-Blood. The stakes are higher than ever in this adventure that dives into the depths of Tartarus.

Percy Jackson is the eponymous hero of the best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. He made his debut in The Lightning Thief at just 12 years old, where he discovered the shocking truth about his parentage: He is a demigod, the son of a mortal woman and the god Poseidon. Beyond his own series, he was one of the protagonists in the Heroes of Olympus series and has since appeared in other spin-off novels and series from Riordan.

House Of Hades

Four stars
I really love this book series and the narrator but, for this book the new narrator I hate. He messes up everybody’s voice including Leo and he sounds bored but he’s fine because it’s just my opinion.

Narrator change?!

Fun story, lots of adventure, drama, friendship, and mystery. I listened to the first books and knew the voices, inflections, and could tell who was speaking easily. This narrator is doing an ok job - not quite as good of a range- but it's a hard change (and a stupid one if you ask me) to listen to someone else part way through a series.

Why would you change narrators mis series?????

I like the story and author but dislike the decision to change narrators in the middle of the series. This narrator does a poor job distinguishing between
