Excellent read!

Please read book 1 & 2 before this book. This is an awesome conclusion to this trilogy. It made laugh and cry. It is suspenseful. And the narrator was the best narrator for this series. I hope they can use him again for future shadow hunter series books.

Best book ever!

Amazing culmination to Clare's best series of work to date!! Phenomenal! And to get to listen to it in this sexy British/Welch accent is icing on the cake!

Phenomenal end to an amazing trilogy!

Where does The Clockwork Princess rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's among my favorites, for sure.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Clockwork Princess?

When Will finds Tessa in Mortmain's lair. I was laughing and crying at the same time. Phenomenal.

Which character – as performed by Daniel Sharman – was your favorite?

That would be a toss up between Tessa, Will and Magnus. I adore all of them, though. It was brilliantly done.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I held my breath, it was amazing.

Any additional comments?

Clockwork Princess is the third and final installment in The Infernal Devices trilogy by the incomparable Cassandra Clare. I was terrified to read this book, I won't lie. I bought it the moment it released and then started it and put it down, so very afraid of what was going to happen to my beloved Tessa, Will and Jem. I wanted to know what happened- yes- but I didn't want it to be over. I did not want to say goodbye. So I shelved it. I'm a wimp, I own it. However, after my recent visit to Oblong Books & Music where I got to hear Cassie speak & get a picture with her and Holly Black (yay!), I found I was unable to put it off any longer. I put on my big girl panties and started the book again.

The story picks up not long after Clockwork Prince ended and dives right back into the action. I have to say, I was so happy that this book was so long. My hardcover copy was over 500 pages-I LOVE big books. Love them. And I felt Clare really tied all the necessary threads off to satisfactorily wind up her trilogy. I honestly don't know how to review this book without gushing and screaming in both happiness and heartbreak. There is just so much to scream about. And we don't do spoilers here and I would never want to be responsible for ruining someone else's reading experience.

I will say this-all of you authors attempting to write love triangles, you should all be taking notes from Cassandra Clare. Here, finally, we have a TRUE triangle. Three people who all truly love one another-not in a weird, kinky way- but real, deep, abiding, lasting, timeless love. Both romantic love and the love between friends and/or brothers, it leaps off the pages. Who should Tessa choose? No matter what happens, someone's heart will be broken, they could all potentially wind up alone and shattered inside.

Reading this book was a bit of a traumatic experience if I'm being honest. I couldn't stop once I'd started again. I had to know what would happen and how things would fall in the end. It was beautiful and brilliant and I know I'm gushing, I'm sorry but I am sincere in saying that I don't think I will ever love a series or the characters therein as much as I have these ones. They have left their marks on my soul and I see many re-reads in my future.

Harry Potter meets the Winchester boys

Great narration.
Truly a heartwarming and heartbreaking love story. I will definitely listen to this again. It's kind of like a Harry Potter meets Supernatural type of story. Love it!

Favorite Clare book, awesome narrator

I have read every Shadowhunter related novel, novella and short story, and this is my absolute favorite book.
And Daniel Sharman...man... he, Davina Porter and Robert Petkoff should narrate ALL BOOKS. And Ed Westwick, too. But I could seriously listen to Daniel all day.. he is amazing.

Excellent conclusion!

I laughed, I cried, and this narrator was, by far, the best of the three books. The way he managed to narrate each character so singularly different was spectacular. From his Welsh accent, American English, British, and old men and young women alike--fabulous work done by the narrator. I haven't read this series since college so it was a great experience hearing this book read to me. Well worth sitting through the other two (three) cruddy narrators.

LOVE the narration!

Would you listen to The Clockwork Princess again? Why?

I would because it takes me to a world far different from my own. Being set in London and in a different era brings a charm that I can't resist.

What does Daniel Sharman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He has done such a fantastic job that I could follow the characters before it said who was speaking. I honestly kept forgetting that it was one man doing all the voices. Fantastic!! I can't emphasize enough how much I enjoyed listening to him. His accents for the different characters from Wales, USA, or the different areas in England were all clear and concise. Such a fantastic job, I'd listen to him reading the phone book for hours on end if I could.

Beautiful Story

I love this author. I love both her style of writing & the world she has built. She creates characters that grab ahold of your heart & become as dear as close friends.

Amazing narrator!

Out my entire library this is probably my favorite audible book overall. I already loved this series, having already read it, but the bonus was Daniel's reading. While I have never watched him as an actor, his performance within this story and capturing each character's essence and making each "voice" so clear and distinct was a true pleasure to experience. His Welsh dialect for the Herondales was simply addictive and beautiful. I rarely re-listen to an audible book, as they are so long, but this will definitely be one of them! I will be recommending this to my blog readers and friends!
