Great Fantasy Escape

after finishing the Mortal Instruments I thought this was a fantastic second series which is actually a prequel. I really loved it and thought it might be even better than the Mortal Instruments. The characters are very exciting and relatable in the narration is fantastic in this one

Love it

I’ve read these books myself but I didn’t do it justice. I love the people that read this book. They have so much life to the characters.

So good it almost made me cry

This series was better than I expected, it made me laugh & cry. I’m so happy I got to listen to this amazing book it has really touched my heart. The ending of this book was heart breaking yet so beautiful. I have never in my life read a book like this before it was such a delight. I am very thankful I decided to read(really listen) to this book, now that I am older. I really can appreciate its complexity more. Truthfully this is one of the best YA books ever! Cassandra Claire is truly a brilliant & magnificent writer with a bright & beautiful mind that is filled with such authentic creativity. I really hope everyone reads or listen to this series. I promise y’all won’t regret it! ❤️💕✨🥇

Beautiful Story

Clockwork Princess is a wonderful story beautifully told. It did a great job tying all the loose and winding threads together.

“In all the world, you are what I love the most.”

I’m not well. This is a 16hr book and I sobbed uncontrollably for at least 14 of those 16hrs. Cassandra Clare is the devil, and she shouldn’t be allowed to do this to people. She wrote the most heartbreakingly beautiful love triangle that I have ever read. A love that lasts a lifetime. Tears are welling up in my eyes as I write this. This was the perfect conclusion from an absolute master. I won’t forget about this book or it’s characters. Please do yourself a favor and have tissue ready before you start this one.

Third time reading this series and I still love it

This book will never get old. This time I went about it a little differently. I read each series separately. Very entertaining as always

I Completely Enjoyed It

What made the experience of listening to The Clockwork Princess the most enjoyable?

The voice actor's accents help really paint the picture in your mind. I think Ed Westwick did a better job with Will but Daniel Sherman does the perfect Jem voice. But there is a lot of chinese and welsh in this novel and the narration helps with that.

What other book might you compare The Clockwork Princess to and why?

I can't compare it to anything else. It stands out to be a novel on its on.

Which character – as performed by Daniel Sharman – was your favorite?

Jem because he actually makes him sound strong and manly. Other actors always made him sound weak and fragile.

And Woosley Scott. I never really like this character before but Daniel's narration helped me connect with him more.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were so many moments that pulled my heart strings. Anytime Will and Jem were together really seemed to be the most emotional for me. There is a love triangle in this novel but not in a sense of a girl has to choose between two boys. Tessa, Will and Jem all genuinely love one another enough to sacrafice themselves for the happiness of the other. That is a quality of the novel that I think makes it shine.

Any additional comments?

I would read this novel with the audio book. It is good to go back and listen after you have read the novel because Daniel does a good job. His pacing is a little slow for me to follow along with but that is why I just sit and listen. Trust me, if you are the type of person that enjoys listening to characters come alive, this will be a great purchase.
