You know, being friends with two cute boys does have its benefits.
There's Danny. Danny is a golden boy in every way. He has dreamy blue eyes and blonde hair that always looks perfect, even when it's windblown or been stuck under a football helmet. He's the boy every girl crushes on. The boy I get into trouble with, the boy I fight with, the hot quarterback no girl can resist, not even me. Being with Danny is like being on an adventure. He has a bright, contagious smile and abs to die for. He's pretty much irresistible.
Equally crush worthy is Phillip. Adorable, sweet Phillip, who I have known since birth. Phillip has dark hair, a perfect smile, brown eyes, and the sexiest voice I have ever heard. He's the boy I talk to every night before I go to sleep. The boy who rescues me, the boy who can read my mind, the boy who is always there for me, the boy who tries to keep me out of trouble, the boy who irritatingly keeps getting hotter, and whose strong arms always seem to find their way around me. And when he gives me that grin, I can never say no.
One boy will give me my very first kiss.
One boy will teach me to make out.
One boy will take me to prom.
And finally, one boy will ask me to marry him.
They will both be my best friends.
But only one of them will be the boy I fall in love with.
Only one of them is That Boy.

I loved the story. I loved the characters. I wasn't sure which way it was going to go. I started it in the morning and I couldn't stop listening, I finished it the same day. I could not stand J.J. or Jayden. She was immature throughout the entire story. I couldn't decide which boy I would choose. I was so glad to find out that there is a second book.
like top 10
All of them
Not really sure. But a film would be great, I'd love to watch this on screen
I really loved listening to Lisa she really brought out the voice I had in my head for JJ.
Sweet, love and friendship
Have not yet...
Can you fall in love with your best friend?
Yes because Lisa Cordileone brought Jayden to life.
I love the way Jillian Dodd so perfectly had me feeling all the characters emotions. I laughed, cried, sighed and swooned.
She wasn't just reading it, she was living it. Not once did I feel like I was listening to somebody just narrate something. She was acting it out. Simply perfect.
I practically did! I started this book last night, had to force myself to turn it off and go to sleep and finished it today.
I hope to see many more additions from Jillian Dodd to Audible!
I am already listening to it again. I read the book and was looking for something to listen to during my commute to work. The combination of writing by Jillian Dodd and narration by Lisa Cordileone is the best I've ever experienced and I've listened to more than 50 audiobooks in all genres.
I would compare it to Beautiful Disaster. The story line is very different, but the narrator of that audiobook also did a terrific job and really did justice to the book.
I liked the hot tub scene with the parents. Enough said.
I laughed out loud when listening. The narrator was pitch perfect and really did justice to the tone of the book. It was fabulous.
Youthful, thoughtful, a book with substance
Jenny Han's books: The Summer I Turned Pretty (series of 3 books), because both books sound as if the narrator is having a private conversation with you. Simone Elkeles' Ruined (Series of 3 books). Another strong female character who brings a conversational tone to the book. The books are laugh out loud funny. If I Stay by Gayle Forman, because of the interesting view point and dealing with the death of a family member. All of the books I've compared deal with books that have strong female leads. There's romance in all three recommendations. All the main characters are likable, complicated, and human.
I liked the scene with Danny teaching JJ how to kiss, because it made me laugh.
Yep. I loved the narrator and the book equally.
The narrator actually sounded like a teenager. I hate listening to a woman or man who sounds like they're 55 read the part of a teenager. I don't want to hear a raspy smokers / sexy voice when listening to YA. I want to hear a YA read a YA book. This narrator did just that. She is awesome.
The narrator was awesome, also I felt like JJ was very relatable.
Danny, I just fell in love!
No, I haven't, but will in the future.
