Love almost as much

Would you consider the audio edition of Silver Shadows to be better than the print version?

Always, but I still miss the old Adrian voice. I enjoy all the characters and voice inflections.

Which scene was your favorite?

When they show up at court in their "official" costumes!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Most moments were moving, more than usual. But a little drawn out with the jail bits and would've loved to see more of the story.

Any additional comments?

A little wordy on many parts and wanted to see more details of the story I know will be extended. Left the depth hitting at the end when I'm usually wrapped up for entire book but can't wait to see where it goes!

Have you listened to any of Emily Shaffer and Alden Ford ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have read the previous books and listened to some. I love Emily Shaffer, I hate that they changed Adrian's accent that was part of his charm. You can't put a character out there for years being one way and then just change it, it felt wrong. I almost stopped listening to go and purchase it and read it myself.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

One moment that touched me, even though a small one, was when sydney was reunited with Hopper. I was wondering what was going to become of Hopper.

I have read and or listened to every book Richelle Mead has written, and I love every single one of them. I also love the fact that Emily Shaffer seems Narrate all of them (the ones I have listened to) she is amazing and hope she stays around to narrate future Richelle Mead books. Currently listening to Game Bored of the Gods and yet again another amazing story and narration.

Better than the first series.

I like the spin off series even better. Can't wait for the next one. Adrian was always one of my favorites and he needed his own story.

Have you listened to any of Emily Shaffer and Alden Ford ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I'm familiar with Emily Shaffer from past Bloodline and Vampire Academy books and love her. Alden Ford, I remember from The Fiery Heart and I love him. Both of these narrators go really well with each other. I love them.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I love how both narrators were able to bring life into the characters. They are amazing.

a great fantasy series that never gets old

I have enjoyed both series that Rochelle mead has has written about these characters and I have enjoyed both listening and reading all of the books and will continue to do so until the last page or in audibles case word is spoken

Yet Another Book That Does Not Disappoint!

When the vampire academy series ended I was heart broken. When the Bloodlines series took us into the life of Sydney Sage I was hooked from book one. This book was yet another great read by Richelle Mead. Looking forward to finding out what happens next.
