Enter Shadow Falls: After Dark and meet a vampire named Della, who’s about to discover what her own story is meant to be....
Della had the perfect life - the family, a boyfriend, and a bright future - until she was turned, and abandoned by everyone she loves. She takes refuge at Shadow Falls, a camp for teens with paranormal powers. It’s where she and her best friends, Kylie and Miranda, heal their heartbreak with laughter, and where Della is training to be a paranormal investigator - and she refuses to be distracted. That means there’s no time for romance with Steve, a gorgeous shapeshifter whose kisses melt her heart.
When a new vampire named Chase shows up at camp, Della’s world is thrown into even more chaos. Arrogant and annoyingly sexy, Chase is a mystery...and the only mystery Della likes is one she can solve. She can’t solve Chase, at least not while she’s dealing with ghostly hauntings, vampire gangs and a web of family secrets. Can she prove herself as an investigator and keep her life - and her heart - intact?

OH MY GOSH! I loved the original "Shadow Falls" series from Kylie's POV, but I'm loving hearing a different perspective, Della specifically. She was always was perhaps a bit more relatable to me (I'm a little bit sarcastic at times).
Della, obviously. I loved her in Shadow Falls, love her more now.
I'm gonna have to say Kylie or Holiday for this one. Katie is EPIC, but I think she does the nice and gentile characters better.
LAUGH! These series (Shadow Falls AND Shadow Falls: After Dark) are so amazingly written and just what I need from a book I want to fall in love with.
Addicted to Audible.
Yes, I would try another book from C.C. Hunter and or Katie Schorr. Katie does a very good job capturing the essence of Della.
The most interesting aspect of the story is that Vampires in this series can have children and the rebirth part but I wouldn't want to give up the good parts.
I would listen to another narration by Katie Schorr.
Not recommending this book if you did not like Twilight. This book is mostly character development as opposed to action.
CC Hunter takes her brilliant Shadow Falls series and focuses this time on Della, the vampire. After listening to the others and Katie's excellent narration of them, this followed int he same great path. The character of Della comes shining through and is so consistent with the past stories that it is easy to slip into her tale. She is abrasive and sometimes rude, yet her prickliness doesn't prevent one from liking her. A very enjoyable book!
"It's good but more along the same lnes"
I would recommend this book you get to see what has happened to the characters and also get background on Della
Della is sassy and you get a real insight into her
Its consistent and she get's the characters
This book follows the same principle as the others. Boy troubles, having to choose between two guys and alot of background guilt.
