Lovely prequel to a great series of books!
I really enjoyed hearing the backstory to how the vampire knitting club came into being in some sense. The prequel is just as charming and as enjoyable as the rest of the series.

Enjoyable
Tangles and Treason is the prequel novella for the Vampire Knitting Club series. This was a fun story where we were able to see how Rafe became a vampire and where his story really started. I think this is more beneficial to read after starting the series because at that point, you are invested in the series and the characters. The narration was really good and it was a quick listen at only 1 hour 15 minutes. I’m glad I listened to this.

Raif is finally on audible!
I love this series and read the electronic version of this, I’m not sure it was technically an ebook.
Raif’s story is bittersweet, dying in service to Queen Elizabeth and being turned into a vampire. Alas his love was a mortal witch.
I really enjoyed the story!

Backstory of our Favorite Handsome Vamp
This was an absolute delight; very short but sweet look into Raif, his origins, his missions, and his great love Constance. This provides the backdrop of a man who was dedicated and loyal to his queen, country, and those he loved and his life having to stay one step ahead of people who would do him and others harm. It is interesting to reflect on how these qualities would change over centuries of seeing what humans are willing to do to one another as well as the grief Raif has carried through such time. A lovely way to provide the audience with insight into the man Raif was and events that have led him to be the Vamp in the stories that take place in present day. Excellent listen for lovers of the series.
