His allies may not add up to much: his sister Abbey, an unreformed childhood biter; Lice Peeking, a greedy sot with poor hygiene; Shelly, a bartender and a woman scorned; and a mysterious pirate - but Noah's got a plan to flush this crook out into the open. A plan that should sink the crooked little casino, once and for all.

Fun story

What does Michael Welch bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I really liked listening to Michael Welch read this story. He did a great job. I even listened to it three times!!

Any additional comments?

I took the book with on an eight hour drive. I have made the trip a number of times before, but it seemed to go much faster when there is a good book to listen to.

narrirator was bad but the book was really good I had to use this amazing app for my book club because I'm a slow reader

Another great story from Carl Hiaasen! Great characters, great storyline, fabulous ending. As usual I didn’t want to put the book down until it was finished. “What goes around, comes around.” Good line - for the story.

loved it in lucked the clues and how they had to find out how to stop a boat from poluting

It's feels so real when you read the story and it makes you feel like your in the story!! I loved this story so much and I definitely recommend reading it!!

Hiaasen does not disappoint

I use this book in class because it’s Florida and I’m from Fort Pierce. My students love it because first it’s a compelling story. Then, it’s ecological, geographical, nautical, relevant, and it’s fun. Also, there’s loads of great vocabulary and human interest topics. I can’t wait to get back down to the keys, rent a kayak, and get my fish on. Thanks Carl. “Excelsior!”, as the kids say.

Flush. I think that it is a very good book and I recommend this book but there is a lot of bad words.😬but it is a excellent book.👍🏻

Better production

This version sounds almost like the microphone was swinging as they recorded it...the volume goes louder and softer constantly...the story is entertaining but just a warning that the recording is annoying.
