You can smell your surroundings
This book is very riveting and dynamic. I absolutely loved it! The carefully thought-out details bring the characters and places to life. I felt as though I was thrust into the places that were described in the book and even smell the surroundings.

it was ok
I read the book years ago and wanted to hear it again. it's not a complicated story and it helps pass the time. I wasn't thrilled with the narrators voice. she sounded a bit too mature to be reading a teen focused book. it was a little odd.

Addicting
The story is so addictive, you won't want to stop listening! I have both the hard copy and audio book and I couldn't keep my nose out of it when I read it the first time nor could I stop listening to the audio book. The narrator is wonderful and really keeps you hooked. Can't wait for the movie and to start the second book!

This was a very good start to a series of books. It is a little slow to get going as you are introduced to all of the characters and backstory starts to fill in. I felt it was worth the listen by the end.

Love!!
I read these books years ago as they were being released and I was in love with them then and I love getting to dive back into the nostalgia of listening to them now. I fall in love with Daniel every time I read these books. Such an original take on an ancient story of the fall of angels and such a beautiful romance, and twists and turns at every corner. I wish the movie did these books justice (maybe a tv show one day) because I'd love to see this entire worlsld unfold on screen. LOVE LOVE LOVE If you love cheesy romance and a good ending to great long story, I highly recommend!!

Nostalgia
I love the series. I've read the books before but when I saw it on here I had to listen. I usually listen to books during work and driving and stuff. It felt more drawn out than I remembered but it was still just as good as it was when I first read it. I highly recommend!
