The Twist!!

This story is so in depth and hooks you at every turn! The ending was not only a surprise, but an absolute delight!

Pretty Monotone

Everybody sounded the same except the random forced "southern" accent. Story was brutally slow in the beginning but got better as I read along.

Fallen Series

This is a wonderful series. So worth it for YA. Its love, its hate, its friendship, its loss and heartbreak. A new version of Romeo and Juliet, in a bright eye opening, refreshing way..

Fairly average YA novel

The story being built here has so much potential. Unfortunately when answers were finally revealed toward the very end of the book, I didn’t feel they were very satisfying and most were convoluted. Maybe later books will clear up some of the plot. There’s a lot to be desired from the “romance” as well.

The narrator has a very soothing voice that was enjoyable to listen to and gave a great performance. Overall a decent book that I enjoyed, but I probably won’t listen to the sequels.

good story, needing different voices for dif peopl

i think it would be better with different forms of voices, not just one voice trying to make sounds of different people. it would be easier to follow if seperate people had seperate voices to follow along with

Amazing book, I’m in love with this story

This is my fav series. Everyone should read it. Iv already read it all and wish there were more stories with it.

Slow moving...

This book was recommended to me from a friend, she really enjoyed it... But I didn't. I feel that the build up to the "climax" was extremely long, and when the climax finally came, it was a let down. I like the idea of the fallen angles, good vs. evil. I know this is in the YA category, but it is extremely young adult. If you are looking for a little more romance, and suspense, then I doubt this series is for you. I did also listen to the second book. And I think that if you had a hard time with finishing Fallen, then you will not enjoy Torment.

It was okay...

I liked it okay, but I thought it was slow to start.
I'd recommend it to others but I'm not really jumping up and down in love with it. I'm curious to see how they do the movie though. I'm not sure if this book is movie quality but it was all right. I'll read the others just to finish the series.

Good story, slightly distracting narrator.

This is a good story. I would not rate it best of all time, but it did keep my attention throughout the series. I almost had to put it down a couple times due to the narration. The voices used for the male characters are hard to listen to, and the narrator herself is a little harsh. However once your brain gets used to all that and the story shines through it's hard to put down.
