Don't miss the other titles in the Twilight Saga.

Loving books :) Quick and honest reviews.
Yes, I would. The writing style is simple, easy to follow and well narrated.
This book is the weaker of the others. Little more conflict. Little more flare. I think it is a great bridge between the 2nd and 4th book. I think the 4th book will have more crazy stuff that I am wanting.
She does a great job. This book didn't need the 2 narrators.
Well it has been I think. I am a little late jumping on the twilight train.
Great book, ready for the 4th. worth the read. I was very surprised. SO much more than a lame teenage vampire story.
Stunning...I have had many late late nights lying in the dark beside my sweetie with earphones plugged in...I was completely captured by the story that takes place (from Forks to Italy) from the first few chapters of Twilight through New Moon & now Eclipse. My heart broke with Bella's and her pain reminded me of my own first love ended..I am completely entranced with the entire cast of characters in this series. Ms. Meyers has skillfully built so many fascets into each one that with very little imagination entire books could be written about each life...or should I say..life ended.. Hahaha!
2008? That is when the next book is due to be released? I, for one, cannot wait.
Stephenie Meyer has created a world and characters that draw you in. It kept my attention and she always leaves you wanting to see what will happen next. Twilight was probable the best written of the three I have either read or listened to so far but Eclipse provided more action and tied together many of the subplots. The only thing I didn't like about listening to the book was the narration. I guess when you read a book you get a mental picture in your head of what the characters look like and what they sound like and having one person provide the voice for almost all of the characters at times was a little distracting. I like listening to books but in this case I started out reading the first two books then downloaded this one, so that might be the reason why I didn't care for the narration. Anyway it was a really good book and I would encourage anyone who liked the first book to buy this book. The sound quality was very good and when I downloaded it to my MP3 player I had not problems listening to it and the thing I really liked was the fact that it somehow bookmarks where I stopped listening so it picked right back up where I left off even if I skipped to music or a movie and then went back to the book.
The story just keeps building. I definately recommend listening to this 3rd book. Vampires, werewolves, humans, romance, mystery and action. Can't wait for the next one!
I love this series of books and have listened to them many times over; however, I got mine for 1 credit each when they were new. The only one I didn't buy from Audible was Breaking Dawn because it was 2 credits. There are many other books with the same price and even higher that are 1 credit. Your 'why 2 credits' excuse doesn't wash.
Let's see if you print this review.
I can find a book to love in any genre -- a beautifully written classic, an interesting mystery or sci-fi, a trashy romance. Bring it!
STORY (supernatural romance) - Eclipse is Book 3 of a four-book series. I'm a bit older than the target audience and not a fan of supernatural romances, but I've persevered listening to this series in order even though I've been pretty bored. Multiple mega-hit movies and 28,071 Audible listeners rating the series 4.4 overall means something, right?
The series is famous for it's human-vampire-werewolf love triangle, but the werewolf love interest doesn't really become a factor till the end of this book -- after about 35 hours of total listening time. I'm sure I'm a minority here, but I think this would have been better if it had been condensed to about half the total time investment. That said, I'm hooked by the cliffhanger at the end of this book, and I'm probably going to buy the final one soon, rather than waiting for a sale as I usually do!
PERFORMANCE - It's okay. She doesn't try to distinguish between male and female voices at all, which sometimes is confusing. There is a male narrator who reads a small bit at the beginning and an epilogue at the end, conveying Jacob's perspective.
OVERALL - The target audience is high school and college girls, and it's perfect for them. There's no cursing or sex, although there is lots of kissing and talk about when they'll actually go further. There's talk about vampire blood-sucking but I don't think much of that actually happens, and a small amount of violence. You must listen to all four books in order, but think about the time investment. As an adult, I can't say it's worth it till I hear Book 4 and see how everything ends.
Different...read book first and loved it too
Made me want to move right on to the next
It is Twilight....awesome story
I HATE her preformances in these books. If I have to hear her call Jacob J-CUP one more time! It drives me crazy. I will listen to the stories because I love Stephanie Meyer, but I sure do wish somebody else was reading it. ANYBODY else! She can't pronounce Jacob correctly and every time she reads anything Charlie says, she makes him sound like a mean jerk who doesn't even like his own daughter. And don't even get me started on what Edward "sounds" like. Ugh! If I ever want to listen to anything outside the Twilight saga and she is the "reader", I will pass.
I am sure she is a wonderful person...just in the wrong profession.
As for the story itself, well...it's Twilight! And I love it!
Retired USN! I enjoy movies, books, traveling and making quilts.
The narrator can make a story come to life or not. Llyana does that.
Jacob, because I am a Native American, but mostly because I think most people have been in love and lost that person.
She brought this story to life.
I wanted to. I would find myself listening in my car then putting headphones on continue listeing.
Kadushin is just perfect! She made the story an experience.
The whole book sucked you in.
This is the third chapter of Edward and Bella's story. As hostilities between the vampires and werewolves increase, Bella finds herself caught between Edward, her vampire lover and her best friend, the werewolf Jacob. Jacob is determined to have Bella for his own while Edward is equally determine to hang onto her. When a threat strikes that effects both vampires and werewolves alike, it seems impossible that this will not end in tears.
