Entertaining! I read the entire Twilight Series and enjoyed each and every one of them. The characters were well developed and the storyline in each book was interesting and very entertaining. I would have loved to have more to read and was sad when I finished this last of the series.
I am a hopeless bibliophile and audiobooks are perfect for me. I get to read and keep my hands free. Perfect for a busy mom/ nurse.
this series just gets more and more engrossing, I love how the characters are written and the narrator does a great job. I was totaly wrapped up in the story and the characters personal journies.
Contrary to some, I actually like the narrator. SHe does read a bit slow than if we were reading it ourselves, but she is good. AFter reading the other 2 Twilight SEries, I must say Bella is starting drive me crazy, talk about indecision with what she wants and a big big worry wart. Don't know how many times Edward and Jacob have told her not to worry. Also not to be able to tell Jacob that stop trying to kiss me, I love Edward would be a nice start. Jacob is right she is being really unfair to both. I am droning down my excitement on the series now. I heard this one is based on Wuthering Heights and the last one on Romeo and Juliet. A bit of originality would of been better as they could of been done so much better!!
As with New Moon, I felt that this story was filler. Again, the relationship between Bella and Jacob seemed a stretch and contrived to cram a conflict down our throats. Oddly, I found the Seth character more believable and delightful than the Jacob character. Edward and Alice are their usual wonderful, interesting, and colorful selves while Bella -- well she could be anybody. She is so not spectacular. The only interesting thing about her is the fact that Edward digs her and since he digs her -- we as fans, get to spend time with him.
I have worked in information Technology for 25 years and have run my own small business for 23 years. I love books!
What a great book - it is wonderful to be able to escape into this world!
I found this book to be a fun listen because of Bella's developing relationship with Jacob. While I'm more of a fan of Edward's, I did like the more lighthearted and less obsessive side of Bella that comes to light in this book. It was a great set-up for the finale of the series, and showed Bella maturing and becoming more sure of herself, and what she wants. I was happy to hear the same narrator as the previous Twilight books, as her voice is a great addition to the story. I recommend it, and it's a pretty essential listen if you're moving through the series.
I am an adult and I normally don't have time to read....but these books are enthalling and keep you gripped the entire time. I felt like I was there with MS. Meyer's intense descriptions. Wonderfully written and definitely a "re-read" kind of book!
