These Royals will ruin you...From wharf fights and school brawls to crumbling lives inside glittery mansions, one guy tries to save himself.
Reed Royal has it all - looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.
What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father's new ward suffer turned into something else entirely - keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed's arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed's entire world begins to fall apart around him.
Ella doesn't want him anymore. She says they'll only destroy each other.
She might be right.
Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It's like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he's going to win back his princess, he'll need to prove himself Royally worthy.
Warning: This book ends in a cliffhanger.

"This generation's Cruel Intentions." (Jennifer L. Armentrout, New York Times Bestselling Author)
You want to stop cause the story isn't really that great, the characters are not that memorable, and it's a but too predictable, however, if you have a curious bone in you unfortunately can't stop till your at the end and shocked you made it that far. Hell it's smut, better than most smut, but still smut.
yes. I like the voices
gossip girl, cruel intentions...not sure but those are what come to mind. Rich kids and LOTS of crazy drama
I like them all.
just when you think you know everything....you know nothing
Yes, this whole series is phenomenal. I can't get enough of it! The narrators are doing a fantastic job with the voices. I feel that Angela does a good guy voice. I really enjoy Zach's other work, so it was nice too have him on this
Well that is hard to say because there are so many. I can pinpoint my most memorable moments except for the last scene..that is a OMG moment!
I think that I liked the scene where Ella and Jordan go at it. Ella has had enough of Jordan bullying everyone and she takes it too the next level.
I love when Ella and Reed get back together, when she forgives him.
Also, when Easton is her shadow at Val's...funny
I would listen to this all in one sitting if I had the patience. It's a story that sucks you in so easily.
Elle and Jen are a powerhouse duo! This series is by far one of my favorite ones. I almost passed it up because I didn't like the cover of the first book. But after reading the blurb and having it recommended to me numerous times, I thought what the heck was I thinking! I highly recommend it too everyone. As for the covers, they all make sense now and I actually love them.
Zachary Webber, definitely. He is always fantastic and sold me on Reed. Angelea Goethais, never again. I read the first book in the series and really enjoyed it. In the written version, I read Ella as such a feisty strong character. This narrator read her parts in a depressed monotone and SO SLOWLY. Ella sounded drugged or half asleep. It completely ruined the story for me.
Right at the start of the book, one of the characters was incredibly mean and manipulative and another character just completely fell for it. He didn't use his brains to solve the problem and came across as weak and stupid. I know it drives the plot, but if felt over the top.
I may try to finish this book in written form. As much as I love Zachary Webber, I just can't listen to female narrator anymore. I'm returning.
I felt both narrators were very good. However I did need to adjust the speed each time it changed narrator. The woman spoke much much slower than the man. It was annoying to keep changing the speed. But I did like the story.
love the story, loved the guys voice, liked the girls voice but seriously what's with the 3 second pause every sentence!?! I tried speeding it up but she talks plenty fast and he is fine, it's soooo annoying, not sure I can finish this.
So this story begins where we left off at the end of Paper Princess. Ella is heart broken and feeling disillusioned with the whole Royal family, but mostly with Reed.
Brook is pursuing her ‘right’ to be the first lady at the Royal household and causing all sorts of problems for them all.
The students at school are even more difficult and bitchier – seriously I could not handle the stress of being around that every day, it’s hard enough being a teenager without wicked bitches trying to control and bully everyone.
Ella feels like a prisioner in her new home and is determined to keep Reed as far away from her as possible. Reed is determined to win back her trust and prove to her that they are meant to be together.
Ella is not someone you can just walk over though and some students at school are about to get their come uppance when they experience her wrath.
A lot happens in this story which then kindly ends in a double whammy cliff hanger so I am very happy that I read this series when the third book was already released, I cannot imagine waiting to find out what happens!
